    Every morning I get transportation for work and they arrive on time and are very professional polite and courteous in the morning however in the evening time the transportation does not make as much sense I use the RIDE KC Freedom program. I receive phone calls for the estimated arrival time but, I am unable to answer those phone calls with the wait time as I am at work as a government employee and I also have physical and emotional disabilities and it's frustrating when the text alerts only sometimes go through. Then when I am on the phone with the representative she says at 4:37 p.m that the driver would be here in five minutes then three minutes pass and then she says it will be fine more minutes

    The public transit for my city is privately owned and they use the bus how they choose. I was on the bus today and I had my service dog with me and because my service dog was not in a kennel as well as the bus driver called in and lied on me saying that I told her that my dog was a emotional support dog which I did not. The police were called I was forcefully put off the bus without doing anything wrong as well as detained by the police working for Kcata. The Supervisor of kcata company strains to make very incorrectly clear that technically in Kansas I have to have my dog wear a service vest or some type of id that he is a service dog which on the website of ADA. It stays very clearly that a requirement for a service dog to wear a vest w id that he is a service dog is not 1. Then I was told also by the supervisor that if I have my dog in kennel he will allow me to ride his bus. The same supervisor decided to ask me what services does my dog provide even though I had let him know that is not a question you can ask legally only question to ask if he is a service dog as well as what task has he been trained to perform. That's not what was done also he continued to ask me what services my dog provides. He and the police officers both are saying that it's the same thing which it is not I contacted Kcata supervisor that's in the dispatch office of kcata and I explained to her the situation and what happened and the questions that was asked she also agreed that asking me what services my dog provides is not a lawful question. She then made it clear that she will pass my complaints over to their civil rights department. I will be waiting for them to contact me yet while I wait I will continue to place complaints with you all and continue to get on the bus with my service dog! Words make a difference even if they're similar in meaning they still make a difference! And because I would not submit to them asking me illegal questions and them trying to play the word game w me.

    Ride KC Freedom, & their Paratransit services, scheduling and dispatch call center they are to provide safe and secure, door to door professional customer service to their clientele in person and over the phone . Instead they are very highly unprofessional upon calling their scheduling line to set up a ride for upcoming appointments and rides for work. I've often times experienced controversy & hostility with the ride kc freedom’s paratransit scheduling & dispatch line as a whole. With them getting my name confused with another client’s that has an similar first and last name to mines, oftentimes because of the mix-ups amongst me and the other client in the past years they have canceled or tried to drop me off at an different address than where I am use to being normally picked up and dropped off causing me to be late or stranded at work. Which has over time; upon their tardiness with getting me to and from work or other places for that matter. With them being Late it has cost me my job, and prior consequences of not getting to work on time in a timely manner. Or deemed to not have reliable secure transportation! whether I schedule the ride earlier or later on in the mid-day they still manage to still make me late either way It goes. Often time ill call an hour before they are to arrive to get an estimate time of their arrival. They usually tell me it will be within the hour or say 30 mins to another hour and it ends up being 3-4 hours upon waiting for my ride to show up. Than if it happens to be a shared carpool upon the vehicle arriving people will often miss their appointments amongst sharing the vehicle with other clients on the way because they Dont drop off people according to priority or in an orderly fashion. Often times, I experience rude phone calls with politely trying to tell the dispatch or scheduling to cancel rides on certain days I don't need them anymore. In conclusion, there is always some kind of unsettling controversy with ride kc.
