    I would like to file a complaint against the Baymont Windham Hotel on South Franklin in Kirksville, MO. I checked into the hotel on Saturday, February 17, 2024. The lady with the black cat who works the front desk did nothing about a drunk man in the lobby who was badgering customers. He was drinking from a can of beer and smelled as though he had been drinking all night. She also made no mention of the Direct TV not working.

    When I called her from my room to get help with the Direct TV, she told me that it wouldn't be fixed until Monday. I asked for a refund but was told that was against policy. When I asked for a proration, she said that she'd check with her supervisor.

    The following morning, not only was the Direct TV still not working, but there was no hot water. When I called to see about the proration, she told me the supervisor was not in the habit of giving handouts. I tried asking about the hot water, but she hung up on me.

    My family has been visiting Kirksville since the early '80's - to hunt as well as me attending school and playing basketball for NMSU from 1989 - 1991. I have never been treated as badly as I was on Saturday. Needless to say, I will never be staying at that hotel again despite me having stayed there many times in the past.
