I moved into this apartment may of 2022 ************************ ******* ********. I sighn a agreement did a walkthrough a apartment that wasn't even ready yesterday manager had me sign a paper saying the apartments was finished. It was far from that. Since then there has been numerous written complaints on stuff to be fixed or complaints on neighbors. Nothing is ever done about anything. I had packages taken and put up a video doorbell. The doorbell has been up for over a year nothing has been said by manager to me until 11-22-23 when 3 wemon beat on my door saying they were owners of building and I could not have it. No paperwork showing me that just hearsay. I put this doorbell up for my safety and safety of others I have had guys strung out on drugs knocking on my door at 3 am trying to enter my apartment. They thought they was at a known drug dealer apartments the management won't do anything about. The building is infested with cockroaches and bedbugs the management will do nothing about, the building is full of mold nothing done about, there are exterior walls that are Soo weak if you lean on them they will fall apart. Water line leaks weak dloors. My air conditioner went out on July 4 of 2022 it took a month for them to replace it with one that would actually cool my apartment off. They paint over mold and who knows what all else. I have congestive heart failure and I cannot handle the heat. The people they hire to spray for bugs are a joke after spraying there are twice as many bugs and they don't spray all apartments. Where the infestation is the most. But they are worried about a doorbell. Not safety or health of there renters.Business Response

To Whom it may concern,
The walkthrough the of the apartment at move-in was signed by the tenant stating that the unit was ready. There are no open work orders at this time for this unit. Packages being taken is a civil matter, that management would not be responsible for unfortunately. The tenant signed the lease agreement stating that no alterations would be made to permanent fixtures on the building without written consent of management, there was a copy provided at move-in to the tenant. As with any infestation issues, once treated, the pests will increase once their environment is disrupted while looking for another source to thrive. We provide very strict guidelines for the tenants to abide by after any treatment is done. Treatment of mold consists of cleaning the area and sealing with a primer made to prime, seal, and stain block to prevent future issues.

I had to sign the walkthrough agreement before apartment was even ready. My apartment did not have a existing doorbell. And as for the porch pirate neighbors I will be taking them videos of them going through my packages to the police department

My foundation is cracked pretty bad and one side is overlapping the other and I have an electrical problem in my kitchen which causes my lights flicker and my overhead fan near the stove has a short in it and only works sometimes.
There is an illegal breaker box right behind me in apt 24 which is a fire hazard.
I can see daylight thru my air conditioner and so its not sealed properly.

This property has a work order process to report maintenance needed. The resident has to fill out a work order which can be obtained in the laundry room or by dropping by the complex office. They can also call the office to report maintenance needed in unit. This resident hasn't reported any repairs needed for this unit. What I experienced at one of your properties; ********** ******* ****., NO ONE should have to experience.
***** the apartment manager strung me along thinking that not only my move in date would be the 18th of Sept, he assured me that it would ready with new flooring, berber carpeting in the bedroom, and new paint. Keep in mind based on trust, I went by the office on AUGUST 31st to pay applicable monies; prorated rent, deposit etc.
Fast forward to NIGHT BEFORE move in day. He told me it still wasn't ready. But I could move my things in. I told him I didn't feel comfortable having to work around them, but had no other choice.
I went there the afternoon of. STILL wasn't done. ***** was outside chatting with everyone not doing anything (surprise-surprise) and apt was a mess. I said when will this be done. Needless to say, ***** came unglued. Insulted me several times, acted like it was my issue. In turn, ***** is a gaslighter. Clearly due to his irresponsibility and procrastination was the reason. And you talk about unprofessional!
But, why did I expect anything different. He told me that they would let me pay the deposit in installments and that turned out to be false. He said my rent would be a certain amount, that changed. He also said I qualified for the utility adjustment allowance, that turned out to be untrue. He also said I would get berber carpeting in the bedroom, I ended up with almost a black color indoor outdoor carpet.
Look folks, I based my decision on the promises your apartment manager made. I was so DONE that day I moved my things back out and picked up the money orders I gave to *****.
I have lost money and time and fully expect to be compensated.
(Utility deposit, utilities for the day, gas, items shipped that I couldn't cancel etc).Business Response

Circumstances happened which was out of our hands that made the apartment not rent ready on Monday the 18TH. Jason should have contacted you and let you know this before Monday and been a little more professional about the situation. We will not be able to compensate you the $450 because you should get all of your deposit back from the what ever place you had to put one down and we gave you back all of your deposit from us and rent money plus you will be able to pick up all your mail and items you sent to the complex when they arrive. Do you also realize I turned down another apt that had a waiting list as well based on the promises ***** had made. Now I have no place to go. You really don't realize what an imposition this has caused due to his incompetence. Actually, there will be 2 days of utilities and 1 box of checks that I won't get (I had to close my account so no one will use checks) and there will be $120 of deliveries from Walmart that I probably won't get now because ***** is going to be an ass about this whole thing. You don't think this cost me anything....YOU'RE DEAD WRONG!

My screen door has been broken for 2 years and they told me they would just have the maintenance man take the door off and leave it off. This is not acceptable. I started renting here with a screen door and that is how I want it to stay. There has been extreme flooding and their response to me was that I should have had flood insurance. I have been verbally abused and disrespected by management. The continue to ignore all requests I have made regarding my living conditions in this apartment. I pay my rent on time every month and deserve better living conditions. They have a baseboard resting behind a heater in the bathroom creating a potential fire hazard too. In 2021 we moved in and had a sewage back up and it flooded our apt and they came out and looked and they cursed and said they would not be cleaning it up. They told us we would get
A years free rent and when the year was up they got a new manager that told us we owed backed rent. She told my daughter that our rent was paid and then they told us it wasn't. This happened 3 times.
9 and half weeks of this and there is black mold that will not come out. My sink wont stop running and they told us they would replace our sink.
2 years without a running air conditioner we had to buy another air conditioner.
The shower in the bathroom is broke. We called the health department and no one has came to look. I have pictures of the flood. No one will help us.Business Response

In 2021 when the back up occurred there were 3 employees on property to assist in clean up. Not all residents cooperated with maintenance to help clean each unit. There has never been mention of anyone getting a years free rent. We assisted this resident in applying for the SAFHR program to help with back rent owed. SAFHR program ran out of funds before they reviewed this resident's application and documentation. The resident has to fill
out a work order to request maintenance needed to their unit. I have contacted
the property manager about their sink and the shower in the bathroom as this has never been reported to management. Property Manager will make maintenance aware of the

Eagles landing first said i was denied housing because i didnt pass my background check, they said i got 3 charges in 2017 and i did not. Then i got a email that said i passed the criminal on my background and was denied because of my credit which i cant see how that is because i have 2 credit cards and my credit is not bad and my bill history isnt bad. Im a single mother of 2 kids, and we need a place to call home. Please help us or tell me whats the best way i can go about getting the help we need.

****** ******* denied her application on 8-5 due to felonies that were listed on it provided to us by the background company. We informed her of this and instructed her that if she could provide us with documentation that those were not hers, that we would go from there. That hasnt been done as of date. I am not sure where or who she got that she was denied because of her credit? I did run another background check on 7-26 and then again on 7-28 which is still showing felonies with one with an arrest date in 2018 which we can not accept at this time. If she feels this is still in error, as i stated before if she can provide the documentation that we requested we will proceed from here. Thanks

I filed a background check threw the Missouri state highway patrol, got the proof they needed to show that I didn’t have any charges from 2017, like they asked and then said we would go from there now it’s about a parole violation, which in fact is NOT a charge so it shouldn’t effect my situation.Initial Complaint

I have a really bad roach infestation problem. I called the property owner and manager, they sent somebody, the guy sprayed and nothing changed. I have been complaining about this for 3 months. I call them every week. They sent someone out and they sprayed but it is doing nothing. I have yet to find a dead one after they sprayed. I am killing 20-50 a day. When they came last Thursday to spray, they put out bug traps and within 24 hours they were completely full. I have called management and let them know and if they couldn't do anything to put me in a different apartment. She laughed at me and didn't do anything and told me no. When I told her I was going to call the corporate office, she gave the phone number and a name to someone she knows of and laughed in my face. I have an autistic son and this is bad. My daughter with my two grandchildren currently live in the oak street apartments in scott city missouri she is a single parent and yes i am worried about retaliation possible eviction against her by me doing this but i feel for the safety and health of my child and grandchildren I no choice they are living with bed bugs! I've contacted ********************* since receiving this complaint and have had no response. I've left two voicemails, one yesterday and one today on the weekend. I've advised for them to call my office for us to discuss the issue in which we will be happy to resolve. I've also sent an email as i received an email yesterday as well regarding the same complaint as left here. I'm requesting for BBB to close this complaint as I have tried to contact with no such luck.
Also, we will be more than happy to speak to them regarding the complaint as this is the 3rd set of tenants they have complained about. In apartment living with 100 units and over 600 people in a complex, it's never going to be completely quite but again, we are more than happy to listen to to the complaint to see if we can resolve.

I paid ****** Security deposit to Maco Management Co. For apartment 102 at ************************* apartment ***************************. I moved in December 22, 2022 paid my rent on time every Month. Kept apartment clean and no damages done except normal wear and tear. I moved out August 22, 2022 which only 8 month breaking my 1 year lease. They charged me ****** for lease being broken. Signed a paper saying apartment was fine apon move out everything was okay and clean. Only wear and tear. They want to charge me ****** for painting ******, ***** for sanitizing and ***** for labor. This is normal maintance on all apartment. I feel I should not pay for normal maintance. I deserve my ****** deposit back and partial rent for moving out before the end of the month ****** owed to me. They are doing me wrong I am 56 years old on disability and kept the apartment clean.
