  ****** **** Gettysburg Save Alot is Horrible. It's Dangerous, they will threaten to stab you, Ive had customers threaten me, I'm white, Rocks by doors, people running across roofs, The Managers sit in the office and discuss your bank account, they should be fired, I inherited some money, these nasty employees have actually acted like my card eas invalid. Disgusting, Criminal Behavior

  This past week, I received an e-mail of Save-a-Lot "Super Coupons" for grocery items at special prices--an offer that expires at the close of business today (July 6). On Wednesday, July 3rd and today, I tried to find ******************* ***** and ****** Farms Butter (that were two of the coupon items) at the Save-a-Lot at ***************** in ************, ********. Neither was available on either date. When I asked a cashier, she replied that the Granite City store was not included in the promotion, and that the nearest Save-a-Lot that had the items was a store at ***************************************************************** (near ********, ********) in **********************. Last time I looked, ************ was part of the ********************** area. There was a disclaimer in the fine print: "Valid only at participating stores," but you need a magnifying glass to read it. At best, these claims are misleading and at worst downright fraudulent. I have unsubscribed from Save-a-Lot's e-mail list and do not plan to patronize Save-a-Lot ever again!

  Every time I purchase an item there it is always a discrepancy with the price. Numerous times the will not honor the sale price according to the flyer. Management told me that they were short of staff and the flyer prices were not honor because staff hasn't changed the price. I actually took a pictures of items on sale and show to the cashier. She call management she said what ever price on package is the price.

  I cannot even give this place a rating, but since I can't leave a review without a star, i gave it a one, and thats a lie. If i could base my rating on the cashiers, THAT would be a five star.It's disgusting, dirty, smelly and has roaches and mice. The products are expired. The manager is a rude man. He treats his employees like they are 2 yrs old. He doesn't hesitate to belittle them at any given time. It's sad too. He has great, friendly employees too. I don't understand why he can't see that. I cannot recommend anyone shop here. His stuff has expired from 2020 thru 2023. He has some fresh products, but the majority is expired. It's just disgusting. I have pics of expired items.

  Location: ***************************************************************** This location does not allow mothers to come in with diaper bags or strollers. The mom's are treated like thieves.

  They have poor customer service, the vegetables, fruits, and products are out dated and rotten. They don't have many male workers, just female workers and people that want to work.

  I wrote a review for save alot on south Jefferson near Cherokee on Google. I wasn't mean or said anything that didn't happen. I just simply wrote my experience. Well I guess they didn't like my review, because when I went back. I was treated poorly by management who was mumbling rude comments under his breath while the cashier laughed hard in my face. The cashier even held the line up and called the manager when I got to the front so they could do some more shady things. On top of that the other staff went out of their way to make me uncomfortable while trying to shop. It's easy to say shop somewhere else, but it is close to my house and I'm going to shop there. I'm going to continue to make complaints until I see different behaviors. Treat people who spend their hard earn money at your establishment with respect.
