    Business Response

    Date: 09/03/2024

    *****************,
Thank you for your review. We always want to work on being better as a company and any feedback, good or bad is much appreciated. We contacted you through Rentvine (the tenant portal) to schedule your move out inspection. The last message that was sent to you was on June 28th 2024. The orginal move out schedule was for July 1st 2024 at 11am. There was a conversation that you could not be present during that move out inspected. We do require tenants to be present during the move out inspection so you can sign over possession and give us your keys to the property along with a  review of any damages to the property that would be taken out of your  Security deposit. When we tried to contact you to schedule the move out, at your convenience you never replied to us. We completed the Move out inspection and discovered there were damages along with trash left in the home. Also, it was relayed to you that we did not hold your security deposit and that it was being held by the owner. We sent a letter in the mail on July 11th 2024 to the property for it to be forwarded to your new address since you did not give us a forwarding address. This letter was explaining why you would not be receiving a deposit due to the way the property was left at time of inspection  along with the past due rent that was owed. We do have recorded calls and they were reviewed and no one on the team was cursing you, I am sorry about the experience you have received. If you would like to contact our office and give us a new forwarding address we would be able to send you a copy of the Security Deposit Return Letter.  We wish you the best of luck in your new property!
