Travers St. Louis RV has demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism and integrity. I purchased a 19-foot travel trailer from them in April 2004 and referred a friend, who also purchased a trailer shortly after. At the time, I was assured I would receive a $200 referral fee. Months have passed, and despite multiple attempts to follow upincluding emails, texts, and callsIve received no response, let alone the referral fee I was promised. This isnt about the money; its about honoring commitments and basic principles of customer service. If a business cant manage something as straightforward as fulfilling a referral agreement, it raises serious questions about how they handle larger, more critical matters. The lack of communication from both the sales consultant, **** *******, and Mr. ****** is inexcusable. Ignoring a customer completely shows a blatant disregard for the people who support your business. I would not recommend Travers St. Louis RV to anyone. Trust and professionalism are the cornerstones of a good business, and this dealership has proven they lack both. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.

I purchased a car from their dealership-(2018 Jeep Compass) and the clutch went out. I had issue with the fly wheel as well . I agreed for the clutch at a cost of $2000.00 and additional $800.00 for a fly wheel. Both items should have been cover under my 24 month warranty. I have called several times and won&#**;t take my calls or answer any of my questions. I have tried to talk with the Sales Manager or the Manager of Auto Shop.

I purchased a new 2022 RV last August from Travers. Even before it was delivered there were problems. Communication throughout the year has been a nightmare! I have been lied to numerous times, and the quality of work when completed has been sub par. The extensive time period waiting for repairs and parts has been horrible. Months and months on end with zero communication unless I initiated it or went to the shop and sat until someone would speak to me. Today was the final straw. Because of the nightmare the year has been, I was told by ***** ******* that my RVs roof would be cleaned and resealed as a measure of good faith. Yesterday I was told that they would only reseal. I questioned this, but ****** assured me this was a common practice. They showed up an hour late. I do not trust them to do what they say, so I climbed on the roof to take pics to compare to the finished work. Unbelievable what they did! I took several pictures of the finished work. Most of the areas needing resealed were not even touched, and what was done was done incorrectly. The old caulk should have been removed, area cleaned and then resealed. Immediately I called and was given the run around again and belittled. See included photos of the low quality work completed today. I am under warranty, and this is NOT acceptable. I want this rectified. I plan to protest in front of the business unless this is taken care of ****.

My name is ***** and I am the service advisor here at *** Louis RV. Ms. ***** purchased a 2022 ********** on 9/30/2023. Ms. ***** failed to mention that her living in her camper would void any warranty she has. With that being said, we have personally delivered her camper to her and gone out to her camper 3 different times with our Mobile unit. We have installed her door, installed an entire countertop and resealed the roof without ever charging her a dime. With the roof reseal you never remove the diecord unless you are replacing the roof or replacing an item on the roof. When resealing you always seal over where the diecord is cracking. We have done everything for Ms. ***** out of goodwill and have never accepted a dime from her. As for the miscommunication, I do apologize for that and we are working on that internally. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us.

I have reviewed the business' response and am rejecting it because:

Truth was not told. From the get go, even the day TRAVERS delivered it to me (I had hired someone to pick it up, but since they hadnt fixed agreed upon repairs, they delivered instead a day or so later) they knew I was living in it Full time. ***** was at my RV and he was absolutely aware I was living in it as we discussed this many times.

They NEVER told me it was out of warranty by living in it.. EVER!

Being upfront and honest has been an ongoing issue with them. Actually, many times we discussed making sure these items were fixed before the warranty was out.

I stand by my words, and their service and products are sub par.

    Sincerely,

    ******* *****

As stated previously, I was not treated fairly by Travers, and the business takes advantage of their customers, especially women. We have no further recourse, so therefore nothing gets accomplished for us. They will twist and maneuver their way out of what has happened and will never take responsibility for the lies told. Obviously, there is nothing BBB can do either. I will continue to spread awareness of Travers horrific business policies in hopes that no one else has to deal with them.

I bought My camper from them in June 2023. The sales team seemed friendly and easy to work with. I went camping three times and found a few things that needed warranty work. I took the unit in during the off-season (January 8th, 2024) to get the warranty work done (a couple of broken outlets, the rubber roof, and a cracked storage door). Repairs weren't complete until March. When I went to pick up the camper, I found that they had not done all the repairs including fixing the simple outlet above the ** and they had damaged the flooring in the camper. I had to leave it there so they could finish the repairs and fix the damage they caused. That night, a hail storm hit their lot and caused more damage. Since the unit was already there, I had them fix the damage from the hail after filing an insurance claim. After receiving the repair parts, they told me it would be done on June 7th, 2024. It was not. I was told it would be done on June 14th. It was not. My truck was going in for repairs on June 18th, so they said they'd transport it upon completion. I was told it would be done by June 24th. June 26th I was told it would be done that night and transported to my house on the 27th. On the 27th my truck was completed and I decided that I was going to go to the shop and pick up my camper. I left multiple messages so they weren't transporting it while I was on my way. Half an hour into the hour-long drive I finally got ahold of the service manager and was informed that the camper was still not finished and that 2 of the windows were not installed. The service manager agreed to deliver my camper to my house by the end of the day. When my camper was delivered, I discovered that several things were still not repaired. For instance, the outlet above the ** was still hanging by the wires and the propane cover still was damaged. The awning and tongue **** were damaged but had never been inspected after the storm, and I found scratches on the newly installed siding.

The truck we purchased needed a repair under our extended warranty. We took the truck to show the issue, they didnt see the issue but went 7 days without contacting us to let us know they didnt see it. We went up and showed the issue. The issue was confirmed and sent to warranty. We took the truck home waiting for parts to come in. Parts came in and we dropped it off on Wednesday evening. It was confirmed the truck would be worked on ****************** We called up on Monday, to find out they were starting the work Tuesday and we would have it Wednesday. We didnt hear from them so called up there Thursday and were told the guy quit and they didnt know when it would get done. The lack of communication has cost us a lot of money out of pocket to cover the extended days it is there. We are now told it will not be ready until early next week. If they would have called us and let us know about the delay due to them being behind and then someone quitting, we could have picked the truck up - saving us hundreds and dropping it back off when they had an employee. This truck is a work vehicle and now costing us income and impacting work. This is unacceptable for a business. I tried contacting the owner, office manager, and service advisor and have not received a return phone call from voicemails left.

We purchased a Seven year extended warranty when we bought an ** from Travers in 2021. We sold the ** in January 2024. Since there was still Four years left on the warranty we contacted Travers to receive a refund for the unused portion. We spoke with ***********************. He emailed us the paperwork to complete for the refund. It was completed and sent to him for processing in January 2024. We were told it would take about 30 days to receive the refund.Four weeks later, no refund so we contacted him by phone. He said we should have it any day. Beginning of March we reached out again and ask for the information to the **************** so we could contact them directly. He said he would take care of it and let us know. Two days later I called again since we never heard from him and he said the Check will be delivered to Travers and they would issue us a check. We have reached out by both phone and email to check on the status of the refund multiple times since then with no response from *****. We are still waiting.

After purchasing an RV from this dealership, we waited 2 months while they supposedly made needed repairs. Upon taking delivery, we found that multiple items were inoperable, and that parts that were promised to be replaced had not. We spent more than $3,700 in repairs in the first 30 days after taking delivery, for which receipts were provided to the dealership. After 3 weeks of unreturned phone calls, the company’s credit manager called to inform us they were “at the end of the line,” and did not intend to reimburse for any of the needed repairs

My name is ***** ****** and I am the Finance Manager here at St. Louis RV. We did keep the Class A *** ****** purchased for two months because it needed a replacement jack and the manufacturer was no longer making them. We did end up fixing the jack and *** ****** was satisfied. *** ****** was given a 30 day warranty which we had extended for him after he picked up the unit after the repairs were done. the warranty included the refrigerator, which was working fine the last time we had spoke to him. At the time of sale, *** ****** had refused any extended service agreements that were offered to him. *** ****** was aware that any problems that arose would be his responsibility outside of the 30 day warranty. All of the said repairs he is asking for us to replace are not items covered under the original powertrain warranty. We have honored all that was promised to *** ******.
