I had seen a roof my neighbor had. The sales manager helped me determine what type of roof that I like. They came and putted the new roof on. I called the owner of the company. The owner of the company came out to my home and stated to me that I had verified the roof with the company manager. The solar tubes were supposed to be taken of and one of the tubes was damaged. They put the wrong color roof on my house. The roofer came to me and asked if I had a cutting tool to cut metal. I have paid them $21000 for my new roof and I am very disappointed.

At Mrs. ******** request, our sales manager met with her on April 4, April 9th, April 18th, April 29th, May 15th, and May 22nd to discuss her color choices.  We do not choose material colors for our homeowners and their homes, the color choice is completely up to the discretion of the homeowner.  We have Mrs. ******* signature on two different documents that confirm her color choice and I can provide those documents if requested.

The solatube domes were replaced during the roof build.  We ordered replacement solatube domes for her at no charge and left them with *****************.  We also gave ***************** a $250 credit off her invoice for her concerns and she accepted that amount.

I would like to add that ***************** has posted a sign in her yard that says, "Storm Guard Beware they put on the wrong roof they don't care about the customer." Again, we have ********************* signature in two places of the roof color she chose.  We do not chose the roof/shingle color for our customers.  This is defamatory for her to post this sign.  If you need any documentation from Storm Guard, please let me know and I'd be happy to provide it.

This is a photo that is in ********************* yard claiming that we installed the wrong roof on her home.  We have her signature in two places agreeing to the color choice.  This sign is defamatory to my business and false information.

In January of 2021 I paid storm guard roofing and construction $10,358.75 to replace my roof. This money was obtained by filing an insurance claim with AAA on my home. My furnace has recently stopped working well, and I had an HVAC company come out to see what the problem was. The HVAC professional went up on my roof and discovered that the vent cap for the vent stack that vents my hot water heater and my furnace was completely closed, had been put on too tight. That meant that those appliances were unable to vent at all. He loosened that and put a gap in there so that now that stack can vent, but it has rusted out the bottom of the pipe, my heat exchanger, and the inside of my furnace. The roofing company claims that they don't do vent caps, that they didn't deal with it at all, and it's not their fault. The items like the vent cap and the flashing for that vent stack are on my itemized receipt, meaning I paid for them. I have had no other work done on my roof, and they are the ones responsible for this problem. They refuse to discuss the matter with me any further. The HVAC professional said that he sees this type of problem all the time from roofing companies, that they put the vent caps on too tight which doesn't allow the stack to vent properly. I need these items replaced, and I don't think that the expense is mine. I believe that it is the fault of the roofing company, and I want them to take responsibility.

********* I do apologize, there was some confusion regarding the rain cap that was installed on your job.  Traditionally, we do not install rain caps and needed some time to pull your job folder and investigate further. We did mention to you when you reached out to us that we would look in to this and get back to you.  After completing our job file review of your project, we do see where the rain cap was installed and that does reflect on your invoice.  Our CRM records show that I reached out to you on Friday, October 21st at 4:58 pm and I left a voicemail requesting you to return my call and I also offered an appointment date of Friday, October 28.   In my voicemail I also mentioned I could have an HVAC person put together a quote for you to move forward, but that we would need access to the basement in order to put that quote together.  I have yet to hear back from you.   If you would, please reach out to us at: ************ so that we may resolve this issue and address your concerns.  I look forward to hearing from you.
