    I canceled my trash service with them in December and they have a $50 deposit for the trash can rental they told me I would be refunded within 30 days I followed up on January and they stated check had been sent in December which I never received it, I messaged them multiple times and they finally stated they would research the check and send agin as well as verified my address. I followed up again several times after that and have not received any reply and now they have blocked my phone number from calling them. This looks to be a big issue with them per other reviews

    Paid a $65 roll off trash dumpster fee and $90 for 3 months service Waste N Away will not return my deposit even though they picked up the dumpster in June 2023. They have totally ghosted me even after promising the check on Oct 5, 2023 . Sent a SASE to them and contacted the Chamber of Commerce four Pleasant Hill who they lied to, and said it was taken care of. These people are just thieves if you have a deposit you will never get it back!

    I have recieved my refund but this took his and his of phone calls and texts with only 1 unfufilled communication from the provider. I am thankful to have gotten it but still think that they are very undesirable to deal with.

    Horrible customer service. My last billing cycle was may31st. With the holiday they didn’t pick it up on Wednesday (which they usually pick up the next day) But they didn’t. They won’t refund any partial refund for the year of yard waste/ recycle. They took my trash cans that were filled with trash(against my house-they didn’t have permission to remove my trash cans). I doubt I’ll receive any of my deposit back as another customer didn’t receive anything on 4-13-23. Something needs to be done.

    I enrolled with Waste N Away, Pleasant Hill Mo to have my trash picked up weekly. There was an $50 deposit on the cart they provided and I also elected to have my yard waste picked up which cost $75 per year. The company did quite a good job of picking up my trash, however, when I moved to another town which was not in their service area, I requested the deposit on the cart be refunded. I also requested they refund a prorated part of the yard trash payment I had made less than a month prior to my move. The company NEVER answers their phone. A customer call is directed to a voice mail and when they feel like it a person returns your phone call. Evidently customer phone calls are not important. My phone calls requesting a refund have been totally ignored. Apparently they intend to keep every cent they have been paid including what they called refundable deposits. I only used one month of the three month payment that was sent to them, one month of the yard waste removal amount and the deposit on the trash bin was supposed to have been refundable. If they were a fair and reputable company, I should receive $116 from them. The company apparently feels they have NO obligation to their customers, that's the people who make their business profitable. My attached document shows the amount paid for the yearly pickup of yard trash, however I do not have documentation on the bin deposit since it was several years ago.

    This garbage service offers an option to pay for several months or a full year at a time. I chose to pay for the full year, and due to price increases they shorted me three months of my service at the end of 2022, and requested more money. I refused to pay and canceled their service, the following month, with no trash service in between the point of time I received the letter of outstanding balance and when I canceled the service. I canceled over the phone in January 2023 after several unanswered phone calls by them and requested they picked up my garbage can and reimbursed my deposit. They were supposed to pick up my can, which they did and reimburse me for my trashcan deposit, which was half the value of the can. I received no reimbursement, and two months has passed, I have attempted to call twice per day for the past two weeks; leaving a detailed message each time, with no answer and no return phone call. This business is either closed permanently or conducts theft and gets away with it by listening to the voicemails and deciding if they want to call the person back or not. If they never call them back they get to keep their money.

    Service was cancelled on Jan 11, 2023. Bills are set up quarterly. If there is a price increase, you are responsible for paying the difference, regardless of where we are in the billing cycle. The Bin deposit was refunded in February and the check has been cashed.
