Helio Solar was a great company to work with. They worked with us and made sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. The installation wasn't quite finished by the time our payments were due to start and they graciously covered that for us until the system was working properly. This company is honest and ethical in their practices.

Dear ******* and *****,We are so pleased that we could install a solar system that was "exactly" as you wanted. You were such a delight to work with and we appreciate your business. May all your days be filled with sunshine!

I signed the paperwork in October 2022, the panels were installed in January 2023. It is now almost May. My solar panel payments started two months ago, and I am still paying for electricity. I have numerous times requested communication, and at one point Helio told me that the paperwork was with my utility company and they were dragging their feet, later I ascertained that it was not true, and that Helio still had not turned in the paperwork. There has been almost no communication from Helio about this. No one has reached out to me, and unlike the other reviewer, who said that their sales rep was paying their electricity until the snafu was fixed, I havent even received that offer. Please, please look further. I dont want anyone else experiencing this- Ive lost hundreds of dollars making double payments, and as a disabled veteran, its not like I have a lot laying around.

This company is a scam! I was promised $6000 for tree removal before installing the panels. I did not receive one dime from them. They installed the panels without the trees being removed so the panels aren't going to work without sun. This whole situation has been a nightmare. I am currently looking for an attorney to see what my rights are for breech of contract. It has been an exhausting experience, no one knows anything about the $6000 that was promised for tree removal and I'm getting the run around since the panels have already been installed.

Dear *****, I would like to address your concerns as they seem to be incorrect. One, we are not a scam. We have communicated with you regularly. You asked to communicate via text message as you live in ********* and work at night. Even though your property is located in MO where the solar panels were placed. In your contract, you do have $6,000 for tree trimming. However, that money is not available until AFTER the installation, not before... and not before we have the money from your loan to give it to you. Your Zelle information that you gave me, was sent to accounting. We communicated regularly with professionalism and honesty. We had a pleasant rapport with one another. We are not your salesman but simply the installer. You signed your contract; you accepted the delivery of the panels, and you allowed the installation. You were installed on 3/14 and there were inspections from the city and the utility that were required. Unfortunately, on April 10, the ***************** would not accept our master electrician's credentials as they were, and we had to address that concern. You were not the only one affected by this issue. We had to submit several documents, a bond and wait for approval. I communicated that issue with you via text. We were not approved for the license until June 26. Though the city gave us the permit to build. We tried to give you the tree trimming funds, but we could not do any work on your property or any property in St. Louis County until we received the approved license. We have tried repeatedly to contact you to schedule a minor repair on your system, but you refused. You said, "You don't have permission to enter my property." On June 16, I texted you. You didn't respond until June 21 with calling me foul names and making threats. I sent you several texts after that and you never responded. The last being on July 26. The *********************** has called you, the owner called you and you have ignored our attempts to communicate. You are correct, your system will not work until we do this minor repair, and the city approves. The trees will give you shading until you accept the $6,000 for tree trimming. Everything is well documented with dates and comments. We even offered to pay your first month of your loan (1st payment due was in June) to get you through the repair and inspection, but you never responded. (Again, we didn't have to do this with you or our other customers, as this delay was with the city, but we did anyway to make our customers whole.) We want to resolve this issue with you, but you must be open to communicate. Thank you.

My solar panels were installed in October 2022. It is currently February 21, 2023 and my solar panels have not been connected and are still not operating correctly.
I have called to beg and plead that this gets done. I get no response. ***** says it's Amerens fault - ****** says it's *****. The facts are:
    1. It's been since October 2022 and I still don't have solar power
    2. I am still paying high ****** rates.
    3. We told them they installed the meters incorrectly - they told us no. ****** came out and confirmed it was incorrect. Also, there was a piece of cardboard next to hot wires. My house could have caught fire at any point.
    4. I have told several people this feels like a scam - they have done nothing to show me it isn't.
    5. I have tried to contact Rob Edwards - the only way he responds to me is if I threaten to contact the BBB.
DO NOT use this company. They hire shotty contractors to do the work on the home you have worked your entire life to have. They don't respond to you. They do not trust their customers when they tell them things are installed incorrectly.
    DON'T DO IT.
