About 2 years ago through a company called SeedFi at the time received a "savings account" Loan for $4000 where they gave me $1500 up front then I paid the remaining balance into an "account" that once paid off I would then have access to the remaining $2500. I have met my obligation and paid the loan of early because I needed the funds to pay for my mother's chemo as she is battling an aggressive form of cancer and now they are blowing me off and bouncing me around from rep to rep and not helping me. Its is truly upsetting that this company will harass you relentlessly if you even go a day missing a payment literally back to back calls 20-50 times a day but when you are asking your YOUR OWN MONEY THAT IS OWED TO YOU no one is home. I sent them bank statements proving the balance was paid off which is also reflected on their own website for my account. They just keep saying we sent it over and no one cares that someone's life is on the line. No one cares about helping people only what they can get out of you. These "savings" programs are scams. WHERE IS MY MONEY???? It's mine I paid it into an account and I should be able to access my funds.Business Response

My loan with ****** ******* ***** was transferred to SST. Since the transfer in late 2023, I have not been able to monitor, log in, see the status, or do anything with my loan. The website has been down for the past 4 months. Statement's that SST sends out are encrypted and requires a password to see the statement. As far as I know, I am paying SST and there's no way to see or track any of my payments because all SST online services do not work. I have not been able to log in to monitor my loan status since the transfer. SST has not been responsive or willing to solve the issue. I am literally sending money to SST and not knowing what is going on with my money. No statements, nothing.Customer Answer

I took out a loan with Seedfi/SST approximately 2 years ago. I have been making bi-weekly payments on this account. While I have had a couple of return payments since December 2023, I have been making constant payments bi-weekly - so to avoid being reported to the credit bureau and keeping the delinqency less than 30 days. I have since brought all payments current. However, i was notified by two credit bureaus that this is showing on my credit report as late. I would like this removed because it is impacting my job status.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: The response does not address nor resolve the main issue. This account was not opened by me and is a result of fraud. I have contacted SST and the company they have indicated (********) in their response. SST has not properly investigated the claim and simply replied that they "are no longer servicing the account". ******** is saying they dont do credit reporting for the account and refers back to SST.
I want a copy of all documents associated with the account (Contract, any information used at account opening etc) and information on who owns credit reporting so I can redirect to the investigation office with the police department where the fraud report was filed. In Dec 2023 my loan was held by ****** Loans. There agreement was when payment was received in 12 consecutive months you could receive a reward which will allow you to skip a month's payment, no interest fee involved. I phoned and requested this reward to be added. I was approved to skip the month of January 2024 payment and was going to be sent info until ****** transfered the loans to sst. I immediately phoned sst about this and was told because the agreement was through ******, I would be honored this. As the January due date came along, I was charged and received an overdraft fee as well being in the negative. I called and complained and was told they would honor next month (February 2024) as my skipped payment month. The statement received (attached) even showed my next payment would not be in February but in March 2024. As of today, I once again was charged after countless calls, emails as well as confirmation from customer service that this would not happen again. I am $-100 in my account and FURIOUS!!! I needed that money for living expenses and they took it without warning!!!Customer Answer

I received a letter from SST via email approximately around the first week of December 2023 stating that my account is paid in full and to contact SST regarding my refund. After reading the letter I immediately called SST and was told that my account is paid in full and a refund for the amount of $499.93 was due back to me from my loan savings account since the account is now paid in full. From this time-frame of December 2023 until current February 8, 2024. I have called SST 4 times regarding my refund and have been getting the run around about my account. Each time I speak with someone I am either told that the check is in the mail already and when 10 business days go by a new story is told that other company called *** has my account. For the two times that I contacted *** at ************, I was told that they don't have my account in their system. However, before being told about ***, my refund was supposed to been already mailed to me since December 2023 and January 2024. And again in February 2024. I provided SST my new address end of January 2024 and was told a new check will be mailed on Friday, January 26, 2024 via mail from SST as a special handling in their office and that my account will not be transferred to *** for a refund since my account was paid in full already. My SST was paid in full using my savings account that was being funded as I paid off my loan. SST paid off my load using the savings account funds and their was some money left over for $499.93. I was told the amount $499.93 is owed to me twice in 2 separate calls to SST. My complaint is the consistent run around to receive my check in the mail and the constant difference processes, procedures, and location of my account that is inconsistent. I would like this issue resolved as I have been very patient and no longer trust what I am being told about receiving a check in the mail. It feels like a scam, fraud. I am requesting my check as of yesterday and not satisfied with the service of SST.Customer Answer

My complaint with this company is almost exactly the same as all the other complaints I’ve read through. SST took over the servicing of my loan from ******* ***** and I’ve had nothing but issues since. They tell me I haven’t missed any payments yet they call telling me I owe thousands and need to make a payment. I’ve spoken with two supervisors since the second week of December and both have told me they have a glitch in their system and that all payments have been made and I am current. They continue to call demanding a payment. They text and email me saying I missed payments. They have refused to accept bank statements as proof that I’ve made all payments. Where do I go next?Business Response

We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the above-referenced complaint your office brought to our
attention. Systems and Services Technologies, Inc. (“SST”) is a loan servicing and payment
processing company that is committed to resolving customer service issues in a cooperative and

We’ve completed our review of the account in question and found the following:
On April 23, 2022, ******* ******** signed an agreement for a Marcus by ******* ***** loan (“the
Contract”) financing $21,000.00. According to the Contract, Mr. ******** agreed to make 36 monthly
payments of $682.45, beginning on May 23, 2022. On December 11, 2023, the Account was assigned
to Systems and Services Technologies, Inc. (“SST”) for servicing. A transfer letter was sent to the
address on file on December 11, 2023, explaining how to access the new servicing information.
When the servicing transferred to SST the Account had a balance of $8,530.49 and due for the
December 23, 2023 payment. Fifteen payments have been made on the Account since the transfer.
Due to misinformation provided during the transfer, some of the ******* payments were not
reflected, resulting in the attempted contacts. The issue was corrected by updating the due date.
The Account is current and due for the March 23, 2024 payment of $682.45.

I had a loan with ******. This loan was for $4500, with $2500 in a savings account. My payment was $200. I had paid the loan down and at some point it was sold to SST Solutions. I continued to pay, and my balance was near the $2500 mark. I called in November of 2023, and inquired whether I would be able to use the savings account to pay off the loan and was told I would be able to pay off the loan using the savings account to apply to the balance. On December 22, 2023, I made a payment in the amount of $372.76, which was the difference between my savings and my payoff balance. I was told it would be 30 days, the account would be paid in full and I would not have to make any more payments. I received a statement in the mail around Jan 15, detailing a $200 payment. I called and inquired as to the situation, and was told the savings was processed and approved and all should be okay and not to make my January payment. I called again on January 22, and this time was told the savings account processing was NOT approved due to "formatting errors" and that the form was kicked back. They submitted this again and I was told by January 29 it should be paid off. It is currently January 29, and it is still not paid. I called again and was told it was approved and not to make a payment. I do not want to miss a payment, nor do I want this impacting my credit.Business Response

****** sold its loan portfolio to SST and in December my loan was transferred to them. I make bi-weekly payments. In the midst of transfer SST recorded only 1/2 of it. I reached out to them and explained the problem. They told me to provide the payment transactions that show the frequency of payments. I did. I called them several times they acknowledged seeing the transaction. Yet they are sending me notices that I am late on my payments and requesting full month payment. As of today I have provided copies of payments twice. Twice they sent me notices for full payment. They illegally pocket $164 plus they are charging me to interest for days my balance didn’t reach 0. They have a survey at the end of the call asking if I would hire of fire the agent I spoke with. This tells you they also have no respect for their employees.Business Response

On January 14, 2022, ****** ************** signed an agreement for a ****** ** ******* ***** loan
(“the Contract”) financing $18,000.00. According to the Contract, Ms. ************** agreed to make
72 monthly payments of $324.37, beginning on February 14, 2022. On December 11, 2023, the
Account was assigned to Systems and Services Technologies, Inc. (“SST”) for servicing. A transfer
letter was sent to the address on file on December 11, 2023, explaining how to access the new
servicing information.
At the time of servicing transfer to SST the Account had a balance of $12,565.65 and due for the
December 14, 2023 payment. Five payments have been made with SST since the transfer; a Wire
transfer of $164.00 on December 18, 2023; a payment of $164.00 sent via Lockbox on December 28,
2023; a payment of $164.00 via Electronic Lockbox on January 8, 2024; a payment of $164.00 via
Electronic Lockbox on January 22, 2024 and payment of $164.00 via Electronic Lockbox on February
5, 2024.
The Account is set up for monthly payments in accordance with the Contract. When making bi-weekly
payments, the system interprets this as not a full payment and shows the remaining partial payment as
still due. Due to misinformation provided during the transfer, the $164.00 was not reflected and a
letter was inadvertently mailed regarding the past due balance. To correct this issue, we worked
closely with ******* ***** to obtain the funds and have appropriately applied to the Account.
Interest was not an issue here as we backdated the payment to the date of transfer.
The Account is showing past due for the February 14, 2024 payment of $324.37. Account is also due
for the current payment of $324.37 for a total due of $648.74.
If Ms. ************** has any further questions or concerns, she may contact SST Customer Service
directly at ***** ********.
Very truly yours,

Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because:
?Prior to that transfer, I made bi-weekly payments of $164 to ******. My payments are timed in a way that the full payment is to be received before the 14 of each month. At the time of the service transfer, I inadvertently sent my second portion of the December payment to ****** instead of SST.
SST has never acknowledged receiving the second portion of the December payment on the 18th. I have provided them with the log of bi-weekly payments made from October to December 2024 prior to the transfer. All they had to do was to reconcile the amounts.I have to say Mr. *******’s letter is very confusing and self-contradictory. He acknowledged receiving bi-weekly payments on five occasions between December 18th to January 22nd. He also acknowledged the weakness of his system for its inability to handle bi-weekly payments. He worked with ****** *****, but the problem remains. Yet I owe a total of $648.74 when SST has received $820 during the time. Customer service is hounding me for lack of payments early in the morning. Today, they tried to impersonate ******* *****.
I am very surprised that for a company that boasts efficiency, technology, leadership and excellent customer service, my account was poorly handled. At the time of this letter, another bi-weekly payment was sent out. I need to send $164 to make the second half of March payment. I will change the frequency starting April, but SST must correct and reconcile my account.
I will appreciate receiving a letter from SST stating the good standing and the correct balance of my account.
Sincerely,
****** **************Business Response

We’ve completed our review of the account in question and found the following:
In our prior response of February 16, 2024, SST stated that ****** ************** signed an agreement
for a ****** by ******* ***** loan (“the Contract”) financing $18,000.00. According to the

The Account is set up for monthly payments in accordance with the Contract. When making bi-weekly

The Account is showing current and due for the March 14, 2024 payment of $324.37.Customer Answer

I received a new statement requesting twice the monthly payments. I believe the issue is not solved. Their response is a sham because nothing was done.
