Allowing ***** ******* to work on my car was one of the worst mistakes I've ever made. He quoted me 200 for labor, and 75 for parts, to change my valve cover gaskets. He said it'd take 2 hours, but he failed to fix it over 4 days!
He did a lot of damage to the vehicle, including ripping off my inner driver door, because he left the window down for days, and it wasn't raising when he gave it back to me. He practically ripped the door off, without even having parts to fix it.
He barely was able to change the gaskets, and when I got the car back, it turns out he clamped some wires in the engine, causing the fuel injectors to fail to communicate with the computer, giving a P300 misfiring cylinders. The car was given to him running perfectly, I just drove it 750 miles up from Florida. When I got it back, it hardly ran at all, and I had to take it immediately to an auto repair shop that actually knows what the hell they are doing. Overall the repairs ended up costing me almost $3000. Not including what I paid him, and I paid in advance. It’s really messed up, but if it weren’t for my mother, I would no longer have a car. She had to help me out with this expense.
He was nice and friendly when I met him, but **** he royally messed my car up. I paid him up front, and he never gave me a refund, even after saying repeatedly that he would.
Near the end, he was yelling at me, and refusing to listen to anything that I was saying. Extremely unprofessional, and spit was coming out of his mouth. He knew this, as I wiped my glasses off in front of him repeatedly. That did not stop him from coming closer and closer, nose-to-nose. He was really up in my face, practically asking me to push him away or start something physical.
He was trying to intimidate me, and wouldn’t let me off his porch at the end. I repeatedly said, “let me off your porch”, and finally he said, “walk around”. Laughably he “apologized” through text later.
