    The attached PDF has many details, as there isn't room here. I took a gown to Anthony's to have it hemmed. I paid $92 for the service. The gown was not hemmed. When I requested a refund, the shop refused, implied I was lying, then lied several times to 'prove' they had hemmed the gown. They made a mistake, confused my dress with another. My gown wasn't hemmed and I would like a refund for the money I paid for work that wasn't done.

    This client claims we charged her for services that was not provided. We asked her to come and take the fabric that was cut off from her dress (photo attached). She was asked to try on the dress before taking it home to ensure accuracy but she refused as she was in a hurry. The service was provided as discussed per her instruction and heel height. No refund will be provided.

    We asked the client to bring her shoes and to come and try on her dress at the time of pick up.  She stated she was in a rush and didn’t have time to try it on. We also have a sign on the checkout desk stating “We ask you to please inspect your garment carefully before pickup”. A photo of this sign is provided. The client is claiming we did not cut anything from her dress and gave it back as it was. The cut off fabric from her dress was showed to her and the photo was attached to the previous response and it is attached again. The service was provided. No refund will be provided. This matter is closed and further responses will be provided.

    I am rejecting this response because:  At this point, I am unsure if it is pride that will not allow the shop to admit they made a simple mistake with my dress and continue to confuse me with another client or if they have gaslit themselves into believing this tale they keep trying to spin.  Again, *I* came in on Thursday, not Friday.  The other client came in on Friday.  Tailor did not ask me to try the dress on, as he was, allegedly, not in the building.  I not only did not refuse to try the dress on, I was told by Receptionist that there was no point as Tailor wasn't there.  I was not in a hurry as I had nothing on my schedule that day.  They are confusing me with Friday's client.  My dress was steamed, but no scissors or needle touched it.  It is exactly the length it was when I dropped it off and still has the factory hem.  I have gotten nothing but rudeness and lies from the shop.  I find it sad that their integrity is only worth $90 to them.  I value mine far higher.I wish them well in their future business endeavors.
