I put a floral delivery in online on 5/5 for delivery on 5/9. The order never moved from received. I called the phone number and was transferred to my local Schnucks, which never received the floral order. I then called the number back asking for a refund since the order was not going to be delivered as it was never received. They processed the cancellation of my order, but never issued a refund, even though I was guaranteed to have a refund in "a couple of days." It has now been 10 days since the order was not delivered and not refunded. I have reached out to the company as well with no response.Business Response

The ******************** wants to apologize to the customer for the delay in processing this refund. After reviewing the customer's claim, the ******************** has determined that there was an error in the refund process. They expect to issue the refund to the customer within the next 48 hours.
The Montvale store will be sending an apology blooming basket with an apology note to ****** *******. The ******************** did make a call back to advise the customer that she will be getting the refund back in the next 48 hours, and she was happy with the resolution.

I e complained on several occasions about the quality of the schnucks brand canned tender sweet peas! I but them regularly and recently they are disgusting and barely edible! The texture is hard not tender. The only response I got was they would pass it on yet the problem continuesBusiness Response

These investigations take time. We need to review the evidence and see where the problem lies. We've pulled some product samples from the store and have tested them. We're also working with the supplier to review their materials.
At this time the investigation is ongoing. If it turns out there is a problem, they will work with the stores to have the product removed by the lot and date of the product and replace it with new product.
The customer does have a rewards account with **********************. As a goodwill gesture, we have added $10.00 to his account.

While using the self check out it appeared the register, via video, checks for stealing and the system identified me as a thief. The screen displayed a big red warning sign and the attendant observed a video of me put the product into the bag and had to reset the machine. I was buying 4 dozen eggs. We won't be shopping there anymore.Business Response

Hi,
We do have a system in place help deter theft in many of our stores. It will detect product and movement to ensure that something was not bagged without being scanned and if the item scanned is the correct product.
We apologize for the experience the customer had during their visit, but rest assured that the data collected will be reviewed to better update the system, in the off chance it picked up a movement or product incorrectly.

12/06/24 At Schnucks Ballwin they use deceptive pricing regularly and make it intentionally difficult to navigate sales. I purchased from the so called orange dot 3/$5 sale. It was for ****** chicken nuggets and also for ground chicken meat. Schnucks placed many packages of various types of chicken nuggets, cutlets and strips all in the same slot marked 3/$5. They all look the same. Apparently the only one on sale was the nugget, but they lumped them all together as if they were all on sale. You wouldn't know until you checkout. And even upon checking out, you dont know if they are marked down until the very end when the order is totaled. Clearly deceptive and trying to get us to buy marked up items and not fulfill the sale. So I overpaid, a lot, because everything was then charged full price, even the ********** other complaint is a couple weeks ago, I purchased shredded cheese which was LOADED with solid mold. I called the store, sent images online, and they said I had to bring the package into the store to process a refund..now who has time to go allll the way to the store for a package of cheese. Get real Schnucks! I spend way too much money there for this nonsense and its not the first time.Business Response

Refunds
Refunds are accepted within 7 days of purchase. All refunds will be returned in the original form of payment at time of purchase.
Please purchase only what you need. Exchanges or returns will not be accepted on products that are purchased in overabundance.
A receipt (paper or eReceipt through our Schnucks Rewards app) is required for any returns totaling over $10.
Seasonal merchandise may be ineligible for an exchange and/or refund.
Freshness Guarantee: We will gladly exchange or return perishable items if there is an issue related to quality or freshness. For all other perishable returns, once the item has left the store, we are no longer able to guarantee the safety of the product and therefore, we are unable to accept a return for that item.

A few months ago I went to clip the Schnucks digital coupons using my IPhone 7 (has the latest software available for that series phone) as usual and was unable to. I contacted Schnucks corporate IT and they said they upgraded their software, thus eliminating any of their customers who can't afford a new $2000 Iphone from conveniently clipping digital coupons (while on the run as well). I'm shocked that they would do something like this! Basically disrespecting probably the largest age group of their Customers. WHY would they do this???When I asked to speak to a manager to see if there was something they could do to help myself and THOUNDS of Schnucks customers there was no one available. Ask for a return call and never received one. Called several times after that and still no return call. Still waiting for someone to contact me about a solution to this issue for myself and THOUSANDS of Schnucks customers who can't afford an Expensive new phone. In the interim I have to IN-conveniently borrow someone's computer to clip the digital coupons. I Love shopping at Schnucks !Business Response

Schnucks does not change the phone requirements for using our phone application. The providers of these applications, Android and *****, make these changes in an effort to essentially force customers to upgrade their phones. While we understand the frustration a customer might feel having to upgrade their phones, this is something beyond our control.Initial Complaint

I have decided as of today to never shop any schuncks stores.Purchased fruit tray sale price stated $3.99 for item got home the receipt showed I was charged $25+ for the fruit. Called the location on ********** in ************* where purchased Spoke with gentleman claiming to be a manager which stated the sign stated $3.99 a pound. That not what I saw but ok. I asked if I can return it to the location in my area which is on *******************. (Misinformation) Get to the ******* location attempted to return the fruit and was told I would have to take it back to the union because it's a perishable item that they would have to throw it away so would have to return it to the union blvd location because it would be a loss for the ******* store because the union blvd got the money for it. What kind of customer service is that all the money goes to schuncks period. Waste of my time and gas. It's bad enough that ******* is a very unclean unorganized with very rude workers as well as selling unedible food fruit and vegetables. ******** is no longer the go to grocery store. I get your policy now but, deeply regret the policy it's a **** inconvenience to your customers. Do not live in the area where purchased was made but will not make that mistake again. Upon approaching many cashiers, I find them often rude, when addressing customers especially myself as a senior citizen. **** gives me nasty looks, make no mistake, (very intentional) whenever I come in. Several weeks ago, when purchasing alcohol, manager ***** was making fun of my age as I am 67 in March of 2025. He commented "Do you think you are old enough" This is an insult to my age, and uncalled for. Last week I was carded however only had my TX D/L as my Missouri license was misplaced. When the cashier asked ***** for an over-ride, he saw an opportunity to humiliate me and stated in a boisterous manor, Schnucks would lose their liquor license if they got caught serving me. I find it hard to believe that Schnucks would lose a liquor license from serving someone 66 years of age. Instead of cooking up this story a professional would have stated "I am sorry **** this is our company policy This drops it on the company closing any questions as we do in other business entities. (How embarrassing for me). Next when purchasing meat as seen on this receipt I believe manager Jenn refused to wrap the meat in freezer paper as it would freezer burn in the shelve wrap as she explained. She did not want to create a new label so declined. I cooked the meat, ate what I could and discarded the rest. (Over 50.00)Same day when I used the restroom after checkout, the Schnucks team guarded my merchandise, a case of water was missing from my cart. I explained this to the team at checkout. They declined that I bought 2 cases and then upon producing my receipt finally told me to go get another one. I felt an associate could have done this as I have 4 knee surgeries and 2 herniated discs plus other injuries. This shows Schnucks does not manage their stores. We are unable to control or make demands of division managers to return phone calls to customers that are truly in need of assistance. On 6/7/2024 I was shopping at the ****** Schnucks at *******************************************. I proceeded to the self-checkout like I always have and did not realize I had 5-7 items over the 10 item limit and was using a small Shopping basket. I am (now was) a regular customer. Upon walking into the self-checkout an employee named ***** stated I could not checkout there and was over limit and when I tried to explain why (long lines) and no waiting at self checkout and prefer to touch all my own stuff rather than employees touching dirty money and then touching my food but before I could explain anything the employee physically grabbed my cart and yanked it around pointing out of the self checkout area and walked holding onto my cart and on my arm. Upon exiting the area and walking unless I wanted to fall or physically engage back I angrily put 5-7 of the same exact pizzas frozen pizzas on counter I went back to the self check out to pay for the rest of my stuff. I called the ****** police and they reviewed the video. They would not charge the employee with assault however police officer agreed was not proper and officer said "see if they will give you a gift card for what happened to you. " I went to the Doctor on 6/10/24 to get left shoulder checked out as it was not feeling great in days following after the employee yanked my cart and walked me out of the self checkout area. The Dr. ***** cost me a ***** co pay. I have asked the business for repayment of the co pay and talked with Britain ********* at ************ and she wanted a release signed in return for repayment. I explained I will accept only ***** for ***** pay but would want more if a release is wanted too. She and I agreed back in July for a release signed by me she would send a $250.00 schnucks gift card. I signed the release and emailed it back with copy of my ID as she stated she wanted. I have been lied to by the Claims adjuster that took and acknowledged the release of liability but provided no store credit gift card as stated would be done in exchange for the release of liability.

Today the gift card for ****** came as promised to resolve what happened on 6/7/2024.
Also it appears based on what the business says **** failed to deliver the 1st card sent. The business claims it was sent 9/6/2024 and was attempted to be delivered on 9/11/2024. On 9/28/2024 **** left a delivery attempt notice but did not even ring doorbell. Appears to be a very long delay and failure by *************** for the delay and not sure why they did not make an attempt to deliver again for many weeks if what the business says in true. Odd

I was at the H3230343335303835**30H ********** located at *******************************************. As me and my 1 year old who was in a stroller was leaving the store, one of the store employees was bringing in the carts and as I slowed down to move my child and myself out of his was, he hit my child with about 30 of the grocery carts. When I said something to him, he hit her with the carts again and called me several derogatory names. I went to get a Manager to inform him of what happened asked me who did it and I informed him I wasn**;t aware, and that I did not follow him after he did it, I was making sure that my child was ok. I also, told the manager to check the cameras and should be on there, He was not very helpful. I then informed him that I was going to contact the H363137**3238313831H.
