    Worst insurance ever please stay away from this company was promised refund of 900 and never seen it and coverage was also dropped stay away stay away coverage ***** you will be denied many services that most ins cover stay away still trying to get refund back

    0 Stars. I dislike the fact that i even have to give 1 star to submit this request. Ambetter is a joke in itself. They contradict what is said between members and what it is sent on papers from them. Spoke to a representative and was told to they were going to fax my provider a paper to show what needs to be sent to them to get a medication approved, ex: previous PA that a medication was approved from my insurance, I just recently lost, to show I was already on the medication and it would be approved, but yet the medication was still denied. It is in writing that is all they needed, so they should go by what was in writing. Instead I spoke to someone else who pretty much stated she did not care what was sent in writing, they were not going to change the status of the PA of my medication.

    Ambetter is the WORST insurance that anyone could obtain. Every time I have to submit an authorization it is the WORST experience.

    I guess I'm the minority here because I personally think it's an awesome insurance and I'm totally satisfied. They have met all of my medical needs and my premiums and medications are unbelievably low cost to myself. Sorry if this is not what people want to hear,but I can't think of anyone else I'd rather have insurance through. Best company for me.

    No star ambetter don't deserve not even one this insurance ambetter is a joke do not care about the well-being of the patient been waiting for more than a month for a authorization that I submitted more than a a month ago ambetter hasn't respond to me with any information or updates waiting for a determination for more than a month when they said the turn around time is 3 days every time I call I ask to speak with a supervisor they hang up the phone or they transfer my call to other department that they don't know why they transfer my call there please do yourself a favor and stay away for this insurance company ambetter not good for you.

    Centeen corporate is the parent company to Ambetter Health. This is the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with in my 65 years of life. Poor ***************** long wait times, difficulty getting problems resolved, and representatives who are unhelpful or lack the authority to address issues. Supervisors who hang up on you and people at the administration office who just don't give a darn about you.******* ****** left me unattended while she supposedly was trying to help me for over 6 weeks in some of the worst pain I've ever dealt with in my entire life. Now tell me that's not cruel and unusual punishment. Apparently, they have a lot of complaints filed on them at the Better Business Bureau of which mine will be next. They think because I'm a 60 year old woman I'm just going to sit back and be quiet and not do anything this is the worst insurance company ever my advice to you is stay clear of them. I filed my complaint with the corporate company and the complaint was sent over to ambetter, specifically ******** ******. If I were you I would stay clear of both companies because they are both worthless.

    They have cheaper premiums because they do not pay for hardly any thing. I have an injured shoulder and have had one for a year. My doctor ordered an MRI, they would not approve it, said I had to go to physical therapy so I did. My shoulder is worse than it ever was and they still will not approve my MRI. dont use them, pay a little more for something better. You are only wasting your monthly premium. It seems as if you are saving money, but you are not. I am 54 years old, work hard. My fingers are going numb. I have called many times and they are terrible with customer service. Dont do it

    Absolutely the Worst Insurance Experience Ive Ever HadAmbetter is by far the worst insurance company Ive ever dealt with. Their service is abysmal, and trying to reach them is a complete nightmare. They inexplicably terminated my coverage, despite everything being in order with the Marketplace, where I originally purchased the ******* make matters worse, their plans are wildly overpriced. I was paying $1,000 a monthjust for my dad, who has no medical conditions or current diagnoses. Thats an outrageous premium for a single, healthy ************* a physician, Im in and out of surgeries all day, with about an hour between cases. I used that time to call Ambetterfive separate timesand every single call was a disaster. I waited on hold for 45 minutes each time, only to have to re-verify that I was calling on behalf of my father (the member), even though I was already confirmed as the authorized representative earlier that same day. Every call started from scratch. No one ever had a record of the previous callsno notes, no continuityjust a complete waste of time over and over again.They charged me for an extra month and refused to refund me, even though I paid for three months waiting for the first PCP appointment. Then they abruptly canceled the policy two days before the appointment and kept my money.When I finally had time to sit for over two hours on the phone, I reached the escalation teamonly for them to ask if I had contacted the Marketplace. I told them yes, repeatedly. I even sent them a letter from the Marketplace showing everything was fine. Before I could finish explaining, they transferred me back to the Marketplace and dropped the call. That was the final straw.I would never recommend this insurance to anyonenot even to my worst enemy. I will never use Ambetter again. Save yourself the time, stress, and money. This company is overpriced, incompetent, and completely disrespectful of peoples time and lives.

    Physical therapy was approved by them at one place. I ended up not likening the place only going twice and decided to go somewhere else for physical therapy and cant get it approved now. They have denied the claim for care over and over. Talked to them multiple times called old physical therapy place to make sure they closed that account. Now they say I have 3 claims open for physical therapy. I have only been to two offices and Im not trying to do anything but get physical therapy that was already approved at old office approved at new office. The automated system is terrible. The customer service lady refused to put me through to a manager just left me on hold even though I have jumped through all there hoops to get this fixed.
