      I enlisted Sobe Relocation (*****************************************************) to do a long distance move scheduled for 9/29/24 from *******, ** to ********, two men arrived whom I assumed were with the Sobe moving company later to find out they were with D&H express moving. When the 2 men arrived they were in a U-Haul moving truck which alarmed me, I asked the guy why they weren't in an 18 *******, he stated their truck broke down and they were taking my things to a warehouse to be transferred to a different truck and my things would arrive in ******** after a few days as they had a stop in *********. I took a pic of the truck and license plate and one of the men. I did not hear anything from anyone as a couple weeks went by, I contacted Sobe to inquire where my things were, Sobe was utterly clueless and gave me the run arounds before finally giving me the full story of enlisting a third party to move my things and they were going to locate my load. A few more days went by & Sobe wanted to wash their hands of the issue and gave a me a number for a ***** who never returned my calls, then out the blue, I received a call from a guy who stated he had my things on a truck in *****, something about employees had quit and he would try to get me my stuff by that Friday, 10/18/24 that did not happen the next day 10/19/24 another guy calls stating he is pulling up to the storage unit in 10 minutes, these were 2 totally different guys in a Penske truck, I had them call ***** and I voiced my dissatisfaction, I did not close on my house til a few months later, once moved in and started unpacking I noticed several boxes missing including my son's guitar...I am missing both my moms and dads ashes, a IPad Pro, a paper shredder, important documents, souvenir magazines, rookie basket ball player cards, antique 2 & 5 dollar bills, a label maker, a host of family photos etc. I would love to have all my things returned but the most important is those ashes, I have to have those ashes back.

      I would like to make a claim that I am currently living a nightmare of not getting my items delivery for my move from ***** to *******. My items were picked up on Sep 27th and was supposed to be delivered on October 3rd. It is now October 22, and I still have not received my items. I have called and spoke to ***** and he has basically ghosted me several times. I've had use to other people's phone for him to answer and then he would tell me lies about the truck broke down, then the drivers are on the way, they can deliver late at night (passed the 9:30 pm window), most current one, they are in your area and the driver should call you in an hour. No call and ***** has ghosted me again. I still have no idea where is my ***** or has it been stolen. I don't know how a company can operate like this and still stay in business. As of date: 10/22/22, I have not gotten a resolution.

      Sorry for the inconvenience. Through the whole process you were told of all updates and what is going on with your move. we told you when we will deliver and we did that and we told you we don't pick up the phone I am always in meetings and I can't pick up the phone every second and I apologize for that. As I am aware you are delivered and gave a discount for the inconvenience. sorry once again.

      Feb 2022: engaged with out of state broker to have my items that were already in storage moved to mover's storage facility to await my June 4 move date March 2022: items were picked up a week late, resulting in my having to pay additional storage fees May 21 2022: Confirmed delivery for June 4 June 4 2022: no delivery, mover would not respond to my texts All of June 2022: mover was not responding, apparently he had 30 business days to deliver, per DOT July 2022: truck broke down, bad weather, truck broke down again, someone else had to have delivery before me...several of the weekly reasons why my things were still not delivered. My son and I were sleeping on the floor and had nothing in our apartment August 2022: I began replacing furniture that was necessary (beds, kitchenware, etc), giving up hope that my furniture would ever arrive. I engage with a lawyer to sue.September 4 2022: mover shows up and makes up claim for over $4k, when the balance PER CONTRACT was $1,679. If he had additional fees, he was to submit them in writing within 3 days of picking up my items (back in March). He additionally owed me for holding my things for 90 days + past my requested delivery date. He coerced me to pay my contracted balance in full, but only delivered *some* of my items, i additionally paid for a baby grand piano to be delivered, this was not delivered, but I paid nonetheless. Had to call the cops to moderate with the mover. The mover made harassing comments such as "Don't be fooled by a cute face, she has a smart mouth..."October 18 2022: I still don't have the rest of my things, the mover stated that I must pay an additional **** now to receive the rest of my items. This is so wildly in breech of contract and so dishonest, I genuinely don't even know where to begin to address the level of audacity and insolence that I've had to deal with. I suppose I am privileged that I can't even begin to comprehend what kind of person behaves in this manner.

      Sorry for your inconvenience but you knew when we got there we gave you paperwork to sign and we explained everything before signing. You were  aware that you have more stuff then you told the broker and we sent the information to them as well so they can see where the charges are from.Truck issues are more then lucky to happen I can't control them. All the stuff you naming tends to happen and is more common then you think. If you asked for storage you only get. 30 days for free and after that you are charged and you were aware of this. We told you that getting a lawyer we have our tariff and we are okay with you getting one because we have paperwork to prove all the charges and with the truck breaking down we have invoice to prove. I am sorry for your experience but you know that we can't deliver your items before amount is paid and you knew that it was on your paperwork and you broker told you. If we were in wrong the officer would have told us so but they knew with paperwork and you singing it you are responsible and aware of everything.
