Ordered a manifold and catalytic converter from AutoZone. Stated it would arrive on Friday, May 30, 2025. Product still claims that until you touch on tracking then says it wont be here till Monday, June 2, 2025. I needed that part and couldve ordered from OReillys and got it Friday, May 30, 2025. I formed a complaint. They only refunded $4.99 shipping. Its false advertising. Its a joke I needed that part today Friday, May 30, 2025.Business Response

Purchased a battery for my 2012 ****** Camry with a three year warranty on 6/12/2022. ******* is now not starting on 12/31/2024. Still within the warranty period, I contact the local store I purchased the battery from only for them to state they had no record in their online system of a warranty. Contacted customer service as well with the same results. Store and online representative will not honor the actual receipt from the transaction showing all of the relevant details but will only go by their online records. I spent extra money on this battery in order to have a longer warranty.Business Response

I had a radiator replaced in my pickup in November of 2022 and in October of 2023, I started having issues with the transmission and then the truck overheated. Turned out that the radiator was defective and coolant from the transmission cooler, which is built into the radiator, went into the transmission and transmission fluid went into the coolant system. Martintonis auto service in ********** replaced the damaged radiator from Autozone under warranty and flushed the coolant and transmission systems, which cost me over $1,100 in labor and tow bills, of which I only have receipts for the labor costs from ***********. In January of 2024, the transmission went out, which was a direct result of coolant in the transmission. My truck is currently sitting at a transmission shop in **********, ** while i await answers from Autozone on whether or not they are going to pay for a rebuilt or used transmission and reimburse me for losses incurred so far. I have been quite patient with them for seven months and I want some answers. I've spoke to the assistant manager, *****, general manager, ****** and district manager, **** of that Autozone location. ***** and ***** have been fairly helpful to me as far as getting information and contacting people, but other than that, I feel I have been avoided and ignored as far as I see it, in hopes that I just go away and forget about the issue.Business Response

District Manager ********************;spoke to the customer ***** and explained that all warranty work is completed through his repair shop. All claims are filed by the repair shop. This particular shop did not file a claim but replaced his radiator under warranty. We are giving ***** $723.80 back for repairs to the radiator, coolant, transmission filter and flush and labor for the job. I have sent his information to the claims department to issue a customer satisfaction check. I did explain to ***** it would take 7-10 business days to receive.Customer Answer

April 19, 2024 I received a call from AutoZones Regional Manager, ********************, from the ******* area. He said he didnt know why my complaint was sent to him but he would try to help me. I explained I filed a BBB complaint due to 2 bad batteries Id purchased from AutoZone. The 1st battery was in July of 2023 that went bad in January of 2024. Then the replacement battery went bad in March. From 6 months then 2 months on a 3yr warranty. Both batteries had leaked battery acid all over and been tested at 2 AutoZone locations. I paid $230 dollars for the battery and just want my money back. My daughter has missed several practices and I had to withdraw her from Special Olympics training due to the battery issues. Spent ridiculous amounts on Ubers to get to appointments. ******************* told ***, the manager at AutoZone in **************** ******** to refund all my money. But someone named *** called me and said he couldnt do that without speaking with his District Manager ***************************. Even though *** said that was the policy if a customer had an item for 2 months or less and it malfunctioned the customer should get a full refund. So why havent they refunded my $230 dollars. My 1st BBB complaint to AutoZone no one answered on the BBB site. But ******************** did call me but they wont give me my moneyBusiness Response

I purchased a duralast gold battery for my truck on February 1, 2022 and it is still under warranty. I had it tested and was told it was bad however they would not honor their warranty since it has been replaced before from receiving a bad battery from them. I went to orally and replaced my battery since they will honor their warranties. Now I'm asking for my money back that I paid for my battery from auto zone since auto zone will not.

Bought a transmission for a 93 dodge. Within 20 miles went out. Went and got 400 back on core that took back to them. In looking at receipt shows can get refund within 90 days so asked for remaining amount continue to be told they don't have that money on them, continue to get run around.Receipt specifically says if a part fails during warranty period shown on this receipt bring the part to any Autozone store and you will receive a replacement or refund.Business Response
Date: 01/05/2024
The customer was told to bring the part back in to process a return. He would not comply with the request as we cannot refund the product until we actually have the product in hand. It was explained to him prior to the complaint that the stores do not keep that kind of cash on hand and a check would need to be cut once the product was returned. As of 01/04/2024 the customer has finally brought the part back and a check has been requested for a full refund for the customer.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:The date that the transmission was returned was Dec 29th, 2023 and have not received any check for payment. I also did not request a check because I paid them $2424.78 in cash, but a check will be fine if received. Of that amount I receive $400 of that back for my core charge. Attached is also written receipt from the associate that received it in.

On Oct. 19, I bought a new battery from AutoZone at 4pm in the evening. Every time I started my car it hesitated. I knew something was wrong and I didn't know if it was my starter or something else. I went to Dobss to test if the starter was bad and they told me the battery AutoZone sold me was bad. They analyzed it and it cost me $49 to do this. Dobbs found out I was sold a bad battery, I went back to AutoZone and they put the money back on my card for the cost of the battery. They refused to refund me for the cost of getting Dobss to analyze the problem of a bad battery.
I would like for AutoZone to refund me $49 for having to go to Dobbs to get my car analyzed.Business Response
