Inhumane. Unethical. Unprofessional. This company came out on May 29th and set traps for squirrels to address the squirrels invading our apartment ceiling and getting inside through the back of the building. The traps were set in the front of the building. There are traps with dead squirrels in them today, 6/23, and have been sitting in the same spot for 3 weeks with dead squirrels in them. Today, the squirrels are smelly and have flies around them, as you could imagine. I called and the woman was extremely rude and talked over me. She told me they have checked the cages every week since May 29th. The cages are visible from the parking lot. They have not been checked or they just left squirrels in them to rot- I have noticed the cages in the same spot every week with the same carcasses. All I wanted was for the cages to be removed, they are just killing random squirrels, not fixing the problem in any way. She did not even apologize or offer any understanding or empathy of this unethical and poorly handled situation, instead she spoke over me and continued to talk while I was speaking, she was very impatient and quick to talk back, and she did not know how to handle this. I asked to speak to the manager and she said "no." I would never recommend this company as they do not properly remove and relocate the animals--- they leave them to die in cages on the roof. Then, when I felt morally inclined to report this to them, I was treated terribly and they didn't want to hear about it. I wonder if this is their way of "handling" issues. I expect professionalism and empathy in a company when customers having ethical issues.

I have used ******* in the past for humane solutions to critters in our attic. Holpers must have acquired *******, because when I called the number, they answered. The gentlemen came out and did not explain to anyone what he was doing. He did not go into the attic and I am not sure he was even on the roof. He set a trap by a **** on the ground. That service cost $219.00. He thought it was a raccoon. 4 days later, we caught an opossum. This company kills everything they catch. I was told this after the trap was set. ******* used to release whatever they caught. I checked with a humane pet removal service and you are allowed to release the animal on your property. I was going to come home from work and release the opossum. I was told by Holpers that they were not able to come and pick up their trap until the next business day. Perfect!!! I get home from work and release the animal and they come the next day and pick up their trap. Nope. The gentlemen came a day early and broke into my backyard I have 2 locked gates!!! He hopped my privacy fence which was nowhere near where the trap was set and took animal to be killed. The trap was set in my front yard and placed in my backyard by my family member so that I could release the opossum on my property. Now Holpers wants to charge me another $109.00 to pick up the trap against my wishes. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!

We recently had Holpers come out initially for an attic squirrel problem. ****** came out, put up a monitor at the spot we thought was the point of access. He Showed me 2 pictures, one where we thought they were getting in, the other is a spot we know has been open. He was polite and punctual. Monitor was checked, offered the option to repair and I declined the fix. 2/24/22 I saw a squirrel in our fascia, the hole that I told ****** to leave. I called Holpers again, spoke with *****. I told her that our squirrels were active in the hole. She responded with they do a full scope, I informed her that they had done their scope and it was my choice to leave the hole open.I told her that he would need to bring traps, there were active squirrels there. I was told he would be by 2/23/24. I came home to find no traps, but a screwed shut hole and a squirrel stuck in our roof. I called again, upset and informed them that this squirrel was stuck. ***** told me that no screws had been used. Staring at a s**** that I didnt put in, nor did I give consent to be put in. ****** took it upon himself to fix the problem trapping the squirrels. I had said the day before, bring traps. He came back that day, set a trap, He left it and said theyd get it today, 2/23. Rang the office before 5, everyone was gone. We had to watch a squirrel suffer in a trap right outside our window for almost 24 hours, because of this companies corrupt morals and miscommunication.**** came Saturday 2/25/24 to get the squirrel and the very first thing he said was is it dead even though I was clearly upset. I was 100% honest with my choices, what I needed, admitted my faults. The rest is up to how poorly this company is run. None of their services were properly discussed with us even though I had a lot of questions about the process. The communication and customer ********************** is atrocious and this could have been avoided if we had been given five minutes to discuss anything that was happening.
