      Not Recommended
      I rented from AHRA from December 2022 to May 2022. I signed a six-month
      lease and paid a surcharge for the six-month term. I offered to sign
      upon sight, once I had viewed the unit.
      In February 2022, I obtained new, out-of-state work, to start in May. I
      notified AHRA immediately and requested an accommodation for departing
      early: an adjustment, or in the least, advertising the unit as
      available, for when I departed.
      On all terms, AHRA refused to work with me. It refused to rebate me. It
      refused to advertise. It refused to consider succeeding clients from me.
      Less than one month after I vacated, AHRA had already leased the unit
      again. I observed its actions through its own website and through
      communication with its agent.
      For two months, it did nothing and the unit was empty. It could have
      been rented. I sought to avoid this waste of time and capital, but AHRA
      decided to stall and to treat me as a transactional obligation, not as a
      customer.
      (For comparison: I had excellent credit, multiple references, and I
      received all of my security deposit back!)
      AHRA is not a considerate or flexible lessor.
