Marc's Flooring, in my opinion, is a disreputable business.
Two out of the three times they have been at my residence, they wanted
more money after they started work. Luckily, the contract said what they
were suppose to do, and I paid that amount. However, once they arrive
and start, they call ***** and say they need more money, both times I
refused and work was completed. They only send one person to move
furniture and install flooring even though they say they will send a
'crew' so the home owner does not have to move furniture. I am 65 and
did not want to move furniture, but I had to. I will never do business

Based upon what was sold, in the details and the contract there were items that were not included because you initially chose to handle those items. When we showed up those items were not taken care and that prompted a call to ****** for a change order, standard process. There are unfortunately uncontrollable circumstances that occur with sub contractor's and people. It wasn't our intent to not send the right resources out to accomplish what was needed, but ultimately installed the flooring. We are sorry you feel we are not a reputable company, but I can assure you, we have a large Team of dedicated, passionate people working hard to be the best partners we can be and strive to give our customers the best experience we can. We take the feedback to heart, discuss as a Team on what we can do better and are constantly working on improving our processes.m. s.

This is incorrect information. The only item 'I' moved, that you wanted to charge me $80 for is the antique dresser, 6 feet.Per the contract I had the furniture ready to move and 'YOU' were going to send out a "large crew", one guy showed up...Then 'YOU' wanted me to pay an additional $300 to move furniture 'YOU' said 'YOU' would move.Your 'Comment from the Business' is **.Review fromDorothy B

The installer through ****'s did an incredible job with our flooring. He was on time, professional, and worked hard to complete the project in a timely manner. The flooring looks great and we would use ****'s again. Happy with the service!Marc's Flooring Service Inc

Ordered carpet through *****. Mark's flooring was the installer. Took 2 months to get in stock carpet installed in our double wide. Carpet looks great but not happy with the broken door stops we just put in and broke our front door. And didnt even tell us. They didnt clean up their mess and I had to pay an extra $200 in labor costs for something not in my control. All while playing phone tag and waiting on hold with ******. Wouldn't recommend either company and definitely wont use them again.Marc's Flooring Service Inc

I apologize your experience was less than satisfactory and that time frame is not typically indicative of our lead times and overall it does not meet what we strive for in results. I don't show any notes that was communicated to us to go out and work to address or fix the issue with the front door or what the mess consisted of. STAY AWAY!! Marcs Flooring is the contractor that ***** used to install my hardwood floors. It was disastrous from the first day. They installed the floors incorrectly and damaged $8000 worth of personal property. I had to hire an attorney and *** to resolve the matter. It was a horrible experience and I will never hire ***** again as long as they use Marcs Flooring. Unless you enjoy spending thousands of dollars on an attorney I suggest you look elsewhere. I wish I could include photos of what they consider to be quality.Marc's Flooring Service Inc

Thank you for sharing your review. In reviewing your project completed in Aug 2021, we see that MFSI was not given a chance to rectify your concerns in full due to your preference of taking legal action and that you requested a claim to be filed for property damages. We would also like to clarify that MFSI was not involved in any legal matters where an attorney would be needed and that the claim was filed in Sep 2021. In the remodel space, mistakes will happen and the ability to work together has to remain on both sides to correct concerns. In this case, MFSI was not given a chance within reason to address your concerns. With that said, we use every opportunity to improve and thank you for your time.J. P.

What documentation would you like to see? I tried to work with ****'s Flooring and Lowes. I was left with no option when nothing was happening. ****'s Flooring came out to my house and inspected it on August 6, 2021. They agreed that everything needed to be ripped out and redone. They were supposed to get back with me with a plan and never did. I reached out to them over the next month on several different occasions and didn't get a much of a response. That was when I had to hire an attorney. Maybe I should have been more detailed in my description. Would you like for me to resubmit it again with all of my documentation?Review fromLorraine H

I would give a negative if I could. I ordered flooring and carpet from *****. They contract with Marcs. The day of carpet install 2 installers came and could barely speak English. This was a rehab rental. I went through house with them and assumed they were qualified. NO. My contractor went by and they were drunk and ruined the carpet. Seams every where. Carpet pieces. Called Marcs and they never answer their phone. Finally got a mgr to come look at the project and he agreed it was awful. He said he would reorder carpet and make this a priority. Its been a month. No calls from Marcs. ***** says carpet arrived last week. I called and left 5 messages today. I am beyond furious. Do not use Marcs or *****. ***** is not help and isnt helping at all. They do not stand behind the companies they contract with. I am 2 months now behind renting this house. Everything else is done. Beware of this company. When I searched I saw many bad reviews. I wish I had known this before I used *****. ***** needs to check the poor reviews on this company and stop using them.Marc's Flooring Service Inc

If I could give a negative I would. Carpet was installed on
May 26. The installers left it in the back of their truck during a
rain storm. They assured me “it is all wrapped up in a tarp. It is
fine”
The carpet was cut too short and was not attached to tack strips or
kicked under the trim. They did not transition into the bathroom with a
proper transition. Seams are fraying and it is just laying on the
floor in some areas without being tacked down. They tore the old
carpet out and made an Absolute disaster of my house. Rained on carpet
and a messy house isn’t even on my list of complaints.
I took 2 days off of work to meet the regional manager to come look and
he didn’t come. He told me to send pics. I sent him pictures for the
3rd time because I had already previously sent them. 2 months, 6 phone
calls, multiple text messages later they are sending “another installer”
out to fix the problem. He called on a Friday at 5:00 and says he is
on his way. It was also the same installer who laid the carpet. I told
*****, Marks flooring regional managers d the scheduling gal I DID NOT
want the same person to come “fix “ the problems he created. I told him
not to come. They scheduled another installer 2 weeks later to come
out. He showed up without the tools to fix the problems. I have now
made 3 calls and have not heard back from anyone. These people should
not be in business and ***** should be embarrassed they are contracted

After reading this I see that I am not the only one who is having a lot of trouble with them.. It has been 9 months and I still don't have my carped fixed. Left awful seams and now have to replace the living room and hall. I have everything moved as they were coming 5 weeks ago and still no carped. I am just thinking about getting my lawyer on the job, I an tired of living like this, plus being lied to all the time. My carped is in but they act like they don't know it, Just about had it.Marc's Flooring Service Inc

We had our carpet installed in June. Big seam in living room. After about a month they came to fix it. Not very good job but I am okay with it. However I noticed two weeks ago the tile in my entry way was cracked by the installers. A piece of the tile is completely broken. I will have to completely replace the entryway tile since I dont have enough older tile to fix it. Not happy about this development. Not a happy customer.Marc's Flooring Service Inc

I see we did send out one of our Install Managers and he did an inspection, and we fixed the carpet. I don't see anything related to the tile at time of inspection. We apologize for the inconvenience and the issue with the seam and have since removed the crew that caused the issue from our schedule.
