Trash services are paid monthly. Trash is to be picked up weekly. Our service is a dumpster, so the trash is always readily available for collection. Repeatedly our trash is missed and we contact the office. We are assured that they will send a truck out to collect the trash. A truck never comes to collect trash. We are also told a supervisor will be notified and a return call to discuss the continued issue of missed pick up. We have yet to ever receive a call from a supervisor. We are now on week 2 of trash not being picked up. This company needs to be held accountable for charging for a service and not providing paid for service.Business Response

***** ******* is not an authorized person on the account for this location. We were notified on Monday 6/10 at 11:26am that the stop was missed for pick up on Friday 6/7. Steps were taken collect more information and get the issue resolved. We did contact the number on our account that a truck would be returning for pick up on. Wednesday 6/12 a truck was back at the location and collected not only the dumpster, but the cans full of trash and trash on ground. As the dumpster is on a Friday schedule a truck will be back on Friday 6/14 as well.

Hired this company to pickup our house trash and they didn't after charging me and when I called to cancel the service they acted like it's my fault they didn't pick it up and they wasn't going to return the money and first they was going to charge on January 14th for 40 dollars for a month's worth of trash service pickup and they charged me sooner for the wrong amountBusiness Response

$10 was charged to *** **** as his services were prorated to begin the last week of December. The $40 that was to be charged in January was going to be for January services. As many people know the holiday season is hectic especially for trash men as they have quite a bit of extra work. He was missed for his 1st pick up. Whether it was an oversight of the driver or confusion of his location I am not sure, but either way if we would have been given the opportunity, we would have made it right and went back to get him collected. Instead, he chose to call our office and be belligerent with our office staff cussing at them and yelling as well as follow up with emails of the same, when they were just trying to get things fixed for him. He services have since been cancelled. We refunded his $10 and did not go back to collect the waste he had out for pick that was mistakenly missed for his 1st pick up.Business Response

On February 20, 2023, RTS trash service took a table from the curb next to our trash cans but threw the tiles in the yard. They took our small trash can with them. They did not empty our trash container. This has been a continuing issues that we report service issues to our major. The mayor reaches our to the company and nothing every happens. They fail to pickup folks trash. Now they have on this very day taken 3 peoples trash cans that were not trash. While our trash can was older a replacement for that trash can is $40 plus. This company has no respect for other people's property nor are the providing the service they are being paid to complete.Business Response

As with all municipal contracts we have rules that are to be followed by ourselves, as well as the customers within the municipality. Our rules include no more than 3 trash cans or 5 trash bags out for pick up per week, none weighing more than 50 pounds. Barrels are stated as not being acceptable trash receptacles due to their inability to be maneuvered (no handles). We do ask that all garbage be bagged so that the loose waste is not blowing when windy, coming out of the trash receptacles or loose for animals to scatter. Also stated in the municipal contracts is that we are to pick up household waste, which excludes any construction or yard waste. These are considered bulk waste and have to be scheduled though our office for special pick up. Residents are allowed 1 bulk item on the 1st pick up of the month. Anything more that this is to be scheduled and additional fees paid in order for pick up to be taken. We have no additional requests or payment from this customer, nor any complaints from said customer on file where they call in or had complaints prior to this incident. From the pictures it looks as if they had additional waste out that should not have been collected and was not contained according to our rules.

Trash pickup service by RTS is consistently subpar. Around 10 a.m. on Monday, September 12, 2022, I observed trash pickup along my street and at my house. The trash guy tossed my trash can up onto the sidewalk. I walked down, picked it up, and told them not to do that anymore, to set it upright. The man informed me that they lay them down, so they know they've been picked up. However, NONE of the other trashcans on my street were left that way. Then the driver of the trash truck stormed up to me in my yard and cussed me out. He called me an ******* and said I needed to start using my brain. He finally returned to the truck, which also had children in the cab, after telling him three times to leave my property. This behavior is abhorrent and will not be tolerated. I am informing City Hall and will speak to my city council at its next meeting.Business Response

Whom it may Concern,
As a regular practice in many of the towns we provide services to, we do put the trash can on there side after being dumped for multiple reasons. One of which is to signify to other trucks working in the town that the trash has been picked up. After further investigation into the situation, it was discovered that Mr. ******* was being belligerent himself and cussing at our worker, which lead to the driver having to get out of the truck to address the problem. Mr. ******* was told if he had an issue, he needed to contact his city office.
Furthermore, this incident was not reported to our company by Mr. ******** to be resolved or any communication made on his part other than this complaint submitted to BBB.
