    Vary terrible city Richmond needs to do something about breaking dam trash cans!!!! Bc they just the dam trash can after they throw it!!!! NO RESPECT!!!!

    Terrible service. Let's start from the beginning. Originally started this service last year over the phone. Called to set up account and then told they would call me back with what day to put out my trash, but account created. Week goes by and I never received a phone call. I call back the next week to find out what day to put out my trash out. A very rude lady informed that they were not taking any new customers that it was IMPOSSIBLE that I opened an account. When I asked her to double check that I didn't have account she was again rude and hung up. A month goes by, and I notice that RTS is charging my checking account. I call back and a very nice lady apologized for the mix up and send the truck immediately to get my trash. Informs me what my day my trash will be picked up and calls ends but not the nightmare. I pay for weekly trash pickup, but they never picked up 2 weeks in a row and going 4-5 weeks between pickups. I called and complained but it didn't change. For a year of service, they had raised the rates twice increasing the rates over 50% and picked up less than 25% of the scheduled service. If this is only trash service in your area and have to set up account, be sure to tell them you have read this review and reviews of others from different websites. Do not let them take advantage of you. In my eyes they owe me money as they "stole" over $200 from services they did not complete as contracted.
