Sun Trackers website clearly shows under each boat a $750 instant cash rebate or $1000 bass pro gift card. I bought a boat through their website and picked up at a bass pro dealer. When I called to inquire about the rebate they told me it no longer exist and the picture of the rebate is still currently on every pontoon listed on their website.Business Response

I have a 2022 Tahoe 185s. Over the winter I noticed a few soft spots in the floor/decking in front of the ski locker up to the bow area. I took it to my dealership and they took pictures. They noticed voids in the fiberglass where there should be foam. Its obviously a factory defect. They contacted ***** for a warranty claim and got a local shop to quote the fix. After a couple of months they came back and said thats not covered in the 5 year structural warranty and denied the claim. When I contacted Tahoe they told me it doesnt list the deck in the exclusions to the warranty. The deck is a structural part of the boat and should be covered under the structural warranty. I was told there was no one else I could talk to regarding this matter after asking for a supervisor.Initial Complaint

I purchased My 2022 Ranger Bay 2600 from Power Source Marine on March *******. On the second trip out the boat took on water due too poor craftsmanship on sealing the rear pressured liveWell and filled the hull with water. The auto bilge functioned failed due to improper wiring, and I brought the boat shallow to pump out the seawater, both power poles broke at the knuckles trying to hold the boat from sinking. At this point the boat should have been a total loss or been taken back to the factory but was not. A few months later 30 miles offshore with my girlfriend, son and a friend the boat caught fire due to faulty wiring by Ranger the Atlas jackplate wiring was not fused and ran directly off a power distribution block. fast forward another month both power pole pumps had to be replaced along with a wiring issue on the power steering pump fuse saltwater intrusion from being submerged. This has all been documented with Power Source Marine who performed the warranty claims. It has crack in the floor section of the bow that was repaired and resurfaces, the rub rail on the port side of the boat from the navigation light around the ***** keeps coming off nearly every time the boat is used, cracks on the port side of the helm seat on the floor under the helm seat and in the bottom of the rear livewell. The port side exterior hull has a dent or deformation approximately 3/8 of an inch deep and 2' in length. the starboard side in the same area has a bulge like something has shifted midship. The electronics cover under the console is held in by only 2 machine screws right into the fiberglass and will not stay secured. The hardtop will not stay secured to the console which in my opinion is not secured properly to the floor or has no support structure. Also, the powder coat from the hardtop, seating and swim platform entry has failed at every mounting point from the fasteners and Antiseize still oozes out. I've had no updates after emails sent to ******** asking for updates.Initial Complaint

I purchased a Bay Ranger 2360 from an authorized Ranger dealer in ******* on 11/08/2023. I returned home to ******** and launched the boat to find the carpet in the trailer bunk had worn through to the wood. ****** claims they sell a custom trailer for the boat that is sized for the model and is sold as a total package. The trailer is clearly not sized properly for my boat size and model. There is excessive wear of the carpet each time it is put on the trailer. The back of the boat is tapered down and it causes the boat to not sit flat on the bunk. The trailer bunk should stop before the end of the boat so it sits flat. I have included a picture of a new Ranger boat of a similar model where the bunk ends well short of the back of the boat. I also have a video I can share that shows the issue and how the boat is not resting flat on the bunk. (I can provide but it is too larger to upload with the complaint.)I contacted Ranger customer relations and their service has been terrible. They blamed the issue on normal wear at first even tough I had only trailed the boat home to ******** from *******. At their request, I have worked with a local Ranger dealer to replace the carpet on the bunk. After the replacement, the carpet is immediately wearing again. It has been several months and no one from Ranger or ************** has ever contacted me. The dealer made an adjustment to move the front support back but the issue is still occurring. The dealer recently said the the trailer manufacturer wants to fabricate a part and bolt it on. All of the supports for the bunk are welded into place. I will not accept compromising the integrity of the trailer to support a $100,000 boat. This is clearly not a custom trailer and is not sized properly for my model boat. It needs to be replaced with the correct trailer to support the boat.Bass Pro Shops/Ranger have demonstrated terrible customer service and need to resolve the issue.Initial Complaint

I have a 2017 rt 198 p ranger bass boat, and the haul split on it. I was fighting with white H3332**37363333363533H to warranty it after bringing it to Jetta H33363833**3336**3038H and advocating on my behalf. H323036343433343334**H H3332**37363333363533H is saying that the gusset (sp?) which is a support bracket of the haul, the weld broke. They rewelded it but they did not replace the haul. The problem is they welded where the split was. The bracket supporting the inside, they welded on the outside of the haul. The heat made the bottom warped as well. It makes no sense they went about it. I went to pick up my boat last year when I finally got it back, paint was flaking off and I provided this to Jetta, which was provided to white H3332**37363333363533H, who then provided to a paint place. They just repainted that area and not the whole area, thus where they over sprayed is peeling again and now they white H3332**37363333363533H is refusing to fix it. The performance has been greatly impacted I**;m only able to reach speeds up to 43 when it should have a max speed of 59.Customer Answer

Here are several pictures where the paint keeps flaking off my boat where repaired and repainted in that area. It also sh our ************* of the extra welds they did on outside of hull that are suppose to be on inside of hull only not exposed. Boat now runs slower not to performance specs hull has waves from warping due to welding. Resale/ value is terrible due to poor repair. I have lifetime hull warranty from ranger. They are refusing to correct the paint on hull and it will not stop flaking off since repair.Initial Complaint

I ordered a boat on Febuary 14th. The boat was supposed to be delivered in 6 to 8 weeks. I picked up the boat on May 10th, 12 weeks later. (This is not my complaint, just a basis for my complaint). As you can see, the white document clearly states for me to receive a $500 gift card. It is now approaching 10 weeks since I purchased the boat and I keep getting a runaround on my gift card. every time I call them they can't tell me where it is. I payed cash for the boat and all I want is the gift card. This is ***** unfair business practice. I held up my end of the contract and all I am asking for is for the company to honor their portion of the contract in a timely manner. Any assistance with this would be very much appreciated. Thank you! A frustrated consumer.Customer Answer

We bought our Bass pro classic XL new in 2021, in the first year the trolling motor which was under warranty went out and when we brought it in. They did not have the replacement and after numerous delays, the manager at the ******, ********, Bass Pro Marine offered a larger and better trolling motor at no extra cost, and they went ahead and did a custom mount of which worked fine for about a year and then the frame of the hall crack around and underneath where they mounted the trolling motor in a special place, so my son brought it into the ***************************** Because thats where we moved the boat and they refused to fix it because they said that the work was done at a Bass Pro and they would have to fix it there. Then fast forward another year to this year in March when we were pulling the boat out of the water. We noticed a large crack in the hall about 3 to 4 feet long , along the weld line of which you can see the welding was done improperly and so therefore it breached, when we brought the boat into the Bass Pro in ********* *****, they had it reviewed by your warranty specialist and they refused to cover it under warranty and so I have made numerous attempts to contact the White River Marine customer service directly been very nice and very patient and after numerous calls and attempts no call back, also we were refused a copy of the report from the warranty inspection person and I did have a discussion with the manager at the Bass Pro in ****** and he said there is no reason why it should not be covered under warranty because they have been covering the hall breaches and he said that theres been a lot of returns because of bad welding during the Covid And that Bass Pro should also be willing to fix the area hall cracked underneath the trolling motor, but neither warranty issues have been covered at the *****************************??? so I am very confused as to why they refusing to cover this under warranty. Please help!Initial Complaint

White River Marine Group moves like snails when dealing with their potential buyers and knows how to kill deals. I understand this is boat sales and not cars but cars would have answers and numbers immediately. Since dealing with WRMG, it has been over a week and I have not even gotten a single quote. How hard is a quote? it is simply ridiculous. among this is, I have to persistently check on the progress of this potential and dying transaction in order to get any response.Customer Answer

I Have a complaint against Nitro Boats and white river marine. I purchased the boat from a dealer in ************ ******** marine In late June of last year. My boat took on water from day one, had a gel coat crack and had issues with multiple electronic parts on the boat. It was sent back to dealership for repairs. They had the boat from September until November. During this time they were to repair the crack and fix the issues going on with the boat. I tried many times to talk with someone at Nitro Directly and no one would talk with me about the problems. Fast forward to this June and the same thing has occurred boat is filling with water. Electronic problems have occurred and it has cost me money as I do fish tournaments. I again have tried to get ahold of someone to speak with and still cannot talk with anyone directly at white river marine or Nitro boats. I just want a resolve, this has not been an enjoyable experience.
