I have live in my house for over 4 years. We now have a new property management that took over. The new owner is rising my rent by $50.00 per month. Without me being a lease with this company. My current lease states that in the renew period is when they could possible increase my rent. I was told that my rent would only be increase the rent . I tried to call the company and speak with the owner. The new owner is very unprofessional and unwilling to work with me or communicate with me. I have call and call and no one will return a call to me. I believe they are trying to raise the rent where the people can&#**;t afford to live here anymore.

It is true we have taken over management of the property as she states.  I have personally answered her phone calls 14 times now in 2 days.  She has actually called 19 times total, talking with myself and other team members. Any reference that we have not spoken with her is totally false.  We have tried to talk with her and explain the situation, but she comes in hot, will not allow us to speak, using extreme foul language and verbally abusive.  Since the beginning of her phone calls, it has been about rent prices on other homes nearby; not hers. She does have a lease, and we will follow those terms and Missouri law as required.

I had a really terrible experience with them as my property manager. There were quite a few problems but the main thing being safety issues. The front door had been kicked in and was not fixed. I called them repeatedly and told them I did not feel safe. After this, any tiny thing they thought I was doing they tried to give me trouble about it. They wanted to come in to my home, in the rain, and I was working from home. After this I got a voicemail to pay $1000 for having a dog when I was paying monthly for the pet charge. It felt like discrimination. There was a point where the basement was completely flooded. No one talked with me about this. They told me that there was no issue. There were numerous things going on. When I moved in, I found drug paraphernalia in the basement. I took pictures of this and they didn't do anything.
I don't think they should be charging me for the things that I reported on.
I don't think it is acceptable, even harassment the way he talked to me.

To clear up some of the confusion on what Ms ***** is saying, she was a tenant of ours for approximately 16 months and she did give the proper notice to move, which we accepted.  We did a final walk through with her present and went over items that she could be charged for; however, there were very few.  Overall she left the place fine with just a few issues.  I told her this at the time, but she kept brining up issues not related to the walk through or tenant damages.  She will receive a refund of most of her deposit, as discussed at the meeting.  We only charge a tenant, all tenants, for actual damages caused during their tenancy that we verify.  We will be sending a letter within the 30 day period as per state law.
