RPM ******************************* towed my car, and when I went to pick it up, I politely asked if he would negotiate a price due to the car only being stored for less than 1 hour, showing pictures of lack of notice that my car could get towed, the man behind the counter interrupted me and slammed the glass pick up window on my hand. He was refusing to let me pay to have my car back, and was immature and disrespectful. I will not tolerate employees treating people like that and he needs to be removed from service. This happened on Wednesday, January 22 at approximately 8:55 P.M. on ******************************************. I did not get a name but the employee was a ***** year old man, ******* lbs with a grey goatee facial hair.

They towed my car, August 15. I paid $100 for the towing. They are supposed to tow the car from location a to location be in the same condition that it was in when they picked it up at location a and they lost my key. I have since tried to contact them multiple times each time they told me that I would receive a call back with more information. They informed me that the tow truck driver claims he left the keys in my car. I asked if the tow truck driver could assist me with a more specific location or come show me where he left them and they told me no they have not called me back at all in this entire process And finally informed me that their tow truck driver claims he left them in my car and they arent going to do anything more

They are the worst, they illegally towed my vehicle from a gas station 2 hours after it was parked the gas station headquarters and corporate office have no record of their store calling about my car to be towed then try to charge me 340 to get it out a day and a half later because I questioned them about their integrity of business, the man cussed me over the phone. My husband called and talked them down on price to release it and when I went to pick up my car the right passenger side bumper was partially torn off and fender dented in. My car had no major damage before now it barely starts their is knocking from my engine and my front sway bar and links are busted and cv axle and tie rods are messed up... They are mouthy and rude and think they can get away with doing this to good people and getting away with it is outstanding and they deny any responsibility.

Our business was contacted by the ************** station where the vehicle was left. The manager there signed off on tow 4669 form for the state of Missouri to

tow the vehicle. The consumer has since picked the vehicle up, in addition to making threats to our business. The $245.00 were for the tow fees, no refund will be

      given.

My car was rendered useless and inoperable after being mishandled and negligence. My landlord called this towing company to move my car in the parking lot to another spot, while they work on trees that were above my car in the original spot. I was out of town, so I couldn't move it myself. There's damage underneath my car, all my oil is drained, and my front bumper is hanging off slightly. I called the business, and only 1 person can handle it there, and they haven't tried talking to me and saying that individual isn't present. So after days of getting nowhere, I told them this is getting ridiculous, in which they hung up on me and didn't try helping me out.

Towed the car out of a parking lot after only being there 10 minutes. After we recovered the car it has damage and makes a noise when you drive it. Its a 2023 car that had zero issues before the tow. They are denying any responsibility

Last year they stole my **** ************ from an apartment complex. The tags on my car were in good standing and so was the blue parking pass hanging in the window for that complex. The car was drove everyday and ran just fine. Then they sent me a bill for over $800 for towing and storage fees to get my car back. After they put a lein on it. They had no right to even tow it.

This company constantly harasses customers at the Springfield city square, **** ******* Apartments, and other locations. They have towed several vehicles, mine included, from their lawfully purchased spots. My car and several other of my friend's cars have been towed from their own parking spots that they have legally purchased from ***** Properties. Additionally, RPM is hypocritical in its practice. They will claim that they didn't see a sticker, or that said sticker wasn't displayed properly. This is ridiculous as even if passes are not displayed properly, **** ******* has a record of what cars belong to residents and where they should be. RPM could simply use the integrity of a quality business and contact **** ******* to verify the vehicle shouldn't be present. Or even use a shared spreadsheet system between themselves and **** ******* of authorized vehicles and their corresponding spots. This is what every other respectable company in town does. *** properties do this and it works perfectly, and nobody has issues with them. Instead, RPM is a well-known burden on unsuspecting young people. They tow people from spots that "they don't own" yet they will park their vehicles for hours in 30-minute visitor spots that they do not own. Additionally, they have unnecessarily towed several cars from downtown into parking garages that are completely empty with poor tow policy signage. They also charge an outrageous amount for vehicles held for less than a few hours. Given the majority of people they tow are undoubtedly young adults with less money to spare I would justify they take advantage of people with less financial cushioning. They should be shut down.

      ************RE: ******* ****** Compliant

      To Whom it May Concern

We received a compliant filed by Mr. ******.  The statement and claims her reported are not accurate:

      - Property Owners, Downtown, **** *******, etc.  All have hired * **** to monitor their lots.  * **** has legal binding contracts to control parking on their property.

      - * **** has a contract with RPM Recovery to move vehicles that are abandoned, or do not have the proper parking pass.

-* **** makes the decision of whom is to be towed and impounded.

      - All parking lots are posted with signs that meet the state of Missouri Requirement for sign size, font size, statues, and colors.

-If a vehicle is towed and the customer shows the vehicle had the proper pass and was in the proper spot, the vehicle is released for zero chares.

-* **** takes photographs of condition of vehicle, parking pass location on windshield, and parking spot.

-Many of the calls * **** gets is from other residents about their spot being blocked by another driver.  We(* **** and RPM ) are strictly doing what we were legally hired to do.

-Our impound fees are well below the national average, trying to match the medium income of Springfield MO.

In short, property managers have spent entirely too much time trying to organize parking, so they have hired a company to so, that being * ****.  Any complaints should be directed to them if they feel they have a claim or complaint.

Unauthorized parking not only wastes a tremendous amount of time for the property owners, but it is also a safety concern for residents, and lots of times is a result of illegal activity.  On average we redeem 3-4 vehicles a month that have been reported stolen and are returned to the rightful owners.

Feel free to contact me if you need anything further or reach out to * **** for further resolution.

      ***** ******

      Operations Manager.
