5 starsLike many of you folks, we look at our piano like a member of the family, so we were terrified at the thought of her being harmed in our interstate move. To make matters worse, her destination was up a steep mountain road and an even steeper driveway! Modern Piano Moving navigated the whole process, including transferring the piano safely to a smaller truck for the last part of her trip. She was professionally dismantled, securely wrapped and transferred, and carefully reassembled without a scratch. (I wish I could say the same about the arrival condition of our regular household goods, but that situation made me even happier that Id hired ********************************************* Movers!)Review fromJill H

5 starsHired to move my childhood Steinway upright piano from ****** to ****** and they did a great job. It took just a few weeks and their communication from start to finish was superb. After contacting the Modern Piano Moving by phone, I knew this was the movers I could trust: they answered their phone, listened to my situation, and explained how their routes operated.Then, because of changes in my situation, no matter who I talked to on the phone, they were able to adjust transport for another month seamlessly. Their communication was excellent with verification a few days before, 30 minute phone call before arrival, and flexibility with customer switching phone numbers. No pun intended--they never missed a beat.The movers take pride in their work and did such a nice job caring for a rather old grand piano. It's safe and sound in its new home now. And billing did not occur until the final verification for transport--that's even after changing the month twice. I highly recommend Modern Piano Movers.

Modern Piano Moving is an unusual company and hard to find in the 21st century. They have impeccable knowledge, skills, honesty, integrity and customer service. They usually only take on a move of 200 miles or more. I needed 2 moves to be done. One was under 60 miles, the other one is over 200 miles. Originally the first move, which was the short one was to be combined with the second on the same day with a pick up. I needed to postpone the longer move to a later date. ***** **** was the representative who helped me with the booking. She worked things out so the short move could be accomplished. She worked with me and went over and beyond any expectations I had regarding my move. She even worked to get me a discount of several hundred dollars on the costs. I was the 5th or 6th drop off for my move. They picked up my piano at 11:30 AM, and delivered it between 5: 30 and 6:00 PM the same evening. My ******* pound ******* Spinet over 70 years old arrived in the same condition it was when picked up. I would recommend Modern Piano Moving to anyone looking to move a piano.Modern Piano Moving

Modern Piano Moving was recommended by a well respected local piano mover who indicated MPM would be able to accommodate our move from ************** to upstate ** at half his price. *** was on point from our first contact through delivery. ***** clearly explained the entire moving process and expected timeframes. Everything went like clockwork and there was timely communication at each step in the move. I dont expect to need piano moving services again, but if I do MPM will be my first call. Ill also give *** a strong recommendation to everyone I cross paths with in the future who needs to move a piano.Modern Piano Moving
