    On Friday May 10th, 2024 Pennock Construction came to my house to put up a pool. I agreed to $1000.00 and that was for everything included. they told me i had to buy lime and sand and rent a dump trailer because they did not have one. I gave them $500.00 cash and they bought the items. They tore my yard up and did not grade the property correctly. They came back again, on the 11th and my husband and i helped them for 5 hours to help set the pool up. they left and I never herd from them again. Until i texted them on May 19th. to let them know i hired someone else, due to the fact they have not contacted me in any way. I figured the abandoned the job. I was texted back you still owe me $500.00 and if I do not get it I will put a lien on your house. I told them I thought you quit and i hired someone else. I need to get it regraded and more sand and tear the pool down again, because it was not put up rig, and then no contact. I did not sign a contract.

    We were originally contacted about the grade work but was asked to work on the pool as well, which we agreed to. I told her we think we should wait because it was too wet and thus would be dangerous. The pool was a used pool they had taken down and was not in great condition to begin with. We were putting together the pool but were working with poor material that was dirty. We find out near the end it was supposed to be further apart. We were going to come the following week but it was raining each day that week. My son contacted her and was told forget it, they have someone else. They do still owe us 500 dollars for the grading the yard.
