    I ordered a set of tires from **************. The website had an option to have the tires delivered and installed by pre approved shops. I choose Warrensburg Quicklube and Tire. I ordered a set on 255/80R17 Toyo Open Country A/T 3s from simple tire and was provided a receipt. I went to Warrensburg Quicklube to have them installed on 1 December. Warrensburg Quicklube installed a set of cheaper Hercules tires Terra Tracs. I left the shop and noticed that they were not correct. I also noticed that they did not install the lug nut covers back onto my front rims. I called them back and they insured me that it was a mistake and that they would reinstall the Toyos that I ordered but that their mechanic annotated that my rim center caps were already missing. This was three days later and the shop never called me to tell me that they made a mistake but had kept my more expensive tires. It really appears that they purposely put cheaper tires on my truck to try to resale the more expensive wheels, and they stole my rim center caps/lug covers

    In regards to the tires- We were unaware we put the wrong tires on the vehicle. We were notified, apologetic, and had asked the vehicle owner to return immediately to get the tires replaced.

    The shop offered to show the car owner the video of the car coming into the shop with no center caps, and the same rims as when he left, the car owner declined.

    The only charges incurred for this  consumer were the initial tire mount and balance (labor).

    The business lost $1100 on this transaction due to their error on the tires.
