Warranty wont cover transmission My warranty on my 2019 jeep Cherokee won't cover the cost of a transmission. I purchased this vehicle on July ******* after about a month or two I noticed problems and stopped driving it. I had it looked at by an auto shop who said I needed a new transmission. The auto shop didn't fix it because they scanners they have don't program transmissions for some newer model vehicles. The mechanic advised me to take it to a dealership. I took it to the dealership and they called a few weeks maybe a month later and said that the warranty company will only cover the labor and that I'll have to pay almost 4000 dollars for a transmission. I contacted the warranty company to ask them why and they said because of long term leakage and that it's the owners responsibility to maintain vehicle fluids. Mind you, I just got the truck and there was no leakage and if there was there would have been fluid on the ground there was no fluid in my driveway or at the shops driveway where it sat for about a month or more. Me and the mechanic from the first shop I took it to kept trying to explain it to the warranty company but they kept saying the same thing. I called again with the same complaint and the guy on the phone said " at least there covering the labor" which I found really rude for someone to say because you never know what anyone is going through. My mom was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago and because of that I barely worked because of going back and forth and with the little money I was making it went on bills and gas for the trips to the cancer treatment center. Anyway, I really feel like I was messed over by the dealership because the mechanic I took it to said that there was something wrong with it when I got it. I even tried contacting the guy that sold it to me at the dealership before the warranty with the dealership expired and he kept telling me he will let me know when the repair team gets back in but he never did and never answer

******* MeeksI purchased a vehicle from Kirk Brothers Ford in ********* the ending of May of this year the salesperson name was **** that sold me a F-150 truck I had showed him a picture of another truck that I wanted but he went and got a truck that he wanted me to get and he said that was his ***** truck that traded it in he knew that the truck needed a transmission the first day I got it but he was too busy trying to make a sale he didn't care the same day that I got the truck it was jerking I was told that it was the turbos on the truck that was the reason why so by July the truck really start jerking and acting up I took the truck back to Kirk Brothers Ford I hadn't had the truck but two months and I had a warranty with endurance but endurance would not replace the transmission because they did a tear down on the transmission and found that it was chunks of metal in the transmission and said that it was long-term note it was long-term before I bought it the transmission was already messed up **** Brothers sold me a truck that someone had traded in they did not try to fix the transmission before putting the truck back on the lot it was all about making a sale now my truck is over there in the shop and they told me that I would have to pay $10,000 at first to put a transmission back in there for a truck that was messed up when I got it after my Husband and I went up there and talked to ***** he said they would go half on me with the transmission but I feel like that is not right I should not have to pay for a transmission that was already messed up when y'all sold it to me and I will not pay for a transmission that was already messed up this is not fair to make someone pay for something that y'all had on the lot knowing the transmission was already messed up I feel like I was taking advantage of because I was a woman this matter has not been resolved my truck is still up there in their shop it is not fair how they treat their customers

Kirkbrothers sold me a car with a known motor defect that was still under warranty when I bought it...then when my insurance refused to get my car fixed because it's a well known manufacturer defect that should have been fixed before I bought it..kirkbrothers told me there was nothing they could do for me...I contacted **** headquarters and they said that had kirkbrothers tested the car like they should have..it would have been on recall...now I'm stuck driving an unsafe car that I can't afford to fix...
