      I am writing this to file a complaint against your store.
      We have purchased a furniture set . Bought the warranty. Filed a claim. Warranty company denied claim but stated that there was a defect in the cushions.
      After several calls Miskellys has refused to stand behind their product and repair or replace the furniture.

      Mr. ****** purchased the loveseat in question on sales order ***********.  He also purchased a three-year furniture protection plan administered by Furniture Care Protection.  This plan covers many accidental instances that can occur along with frame breakage, defects in mechanisms and electronic components.  Flattening or settling of seat cores/foam is considered normal based on use and is not covered under the plan. Mr. ****** filed a claim for the seat cushioning on his loveseat.  After consultation with us, FCP did send a technician to his home to regulate/adjust the seat cores.  Photos taken by the technician show the appearance was vastly improved; however, Mr. ****** expressed further concerns, and we were asked by FCP to order seat cores/fiber/padding for both seats.  These are currently on order with Ashley Furniture, the manufacturer of his loveseat.  Upon receipt, FCP will send a technician to install the parts.  If Mr. ****** prefers, Miskelleys will send our technician to install the parts.  He is welcome to reach out to Miskelly customer service at ************ and let us know if he prefers our technician do the work.

      In July of 2024, I contacted the BBB about a sofa I purchased from Miskelly"s in ***********, Ms. ***** contacting you all and the warranty company , they agreed to repair the sofa. The batting and the cushion for the inside of the sofa was ordered in August. it arrived at my home 4 weeks ago ! It took the warranty company a month to schedule for a tech to come out to repair it. He came out on yesterday, December 19, to tear the sofa down and replace the inside of it. well, when he got the sofa apart, he realized they had sent the wrong size batting and cushioning ! i have waited 5 months on my sofa to be repaired, but still it hasn't been fixed. So with all that being said , I suspose it will take another 4 months for the right size to come in. The tech said he took pictures and sent them to the warranty company, but I have not heard from them today, as I have called twice to speak to management. I havent gotten a return call either. I really need my sofa because now i am having surgery and will have to sleep on it instead of my bed ! With all the trouble I have been through, I think I deserve a new sofa and we can settle this . Its a ****** learned for me also. I wont ever purchase another peice of furniture from them. please understand my frustration. I am 65 years old and live only with my daughter. this sofa is hardly used except when she is home from college. so why is it already torn up already ?!! please help me to resolve this matter.. thank you so kindly , ******** *****

      We are terribly sorry, after Ms. ***** waited for parts to arrive from overseas for her sofa, they were incorrect. Her claim is through her furniture protection plan, so we have reached out to them for details.  We have asked that they be in contact with her as quickly as possible.  Once a resolution is found and we are informed, we will follow up with your office.
