I took my car to them before November 2023 they partially repaired my car when I picked it up it was not taken care of water standing inside that had been in the car for months they said it ran it did not they left old tape on my door that has damaged the paint they were not helpful they were rude and abrupt with me not taking any time when I had spent thousands of dollars I was over charged after having the receipts reviewed my car still is not fixed it’s a classic corvette 1978 edition I love my car it is a treasure to me and I’m appalled at how this place conducted business to a customer I would never use them. I wish I had never spent one dime with them and I’m still only at Square one with my car. It is not running or repaired. The amount also includes the tow charges to get my car to them and to get my car not fixed back to me it was $200 in tow fee

Mrs. ****** had her vehicle towed to Bedrock Automotive for repairs and assessment, upon arrival and inspection, the vehicle was in a total state of neglect and disrepair, there was a substantial rat nest which covered the engine, along with chewed wiring throughout the engine bay area. once rat nest was removed, it was discovered that there was a hole rotted in the right hand valve cover due to dampness retained within the rat nest on the engine. the fuel system was completely contaminated with rust, Mrs. ****** was advised of the condition of the Vehicle and requested that we proceed forward with repairing of the fuel system and wiring under the hood to get the vehicle to run, repairs consisted of new Battery, replacement fuel tank and sender, all fuel lines, all vacuum and fuel hoses and refurbihing of the Carburetor, along with replacing the leaking Heater Core and all dilapidated coolant hoses on the engine, that would cause damage to the engine if vehicle was run with no coolant. That along with substantial wiring repairs to damaged wiring in the engine bay area only. Mrs ****** was also advised that there was substantial additional repairs needed to resolve all remaining conditions this vehicle exhibited. the Doors were taped shut prior arrival, more then likely due to the fact that the doors would not latch shut at all. (possibly broken latches). this was possibly done by the towing service of her choice, She may elect to contact the towing service about the damage to the doors the tape may have caused. it will normally be impossible to retain water intrusion on a vehicle when the doors will not latch shut, therefore there is no seal at the weatherstripping for the doors. Mrs ****** became unreachable during the repair process therefore it became necessary to send a certified letter to to acquire repayment for the remaining balance on her authorized repairs, At that time she also instructed us to refrain from doing any additional repairs as she claimed she was going to sell the vehicle due to the nature of its condition. Mrs. ****** was also advised that there were additional chewed wiring within the passenger compartment of the vehicle that would need to be repaired, she declined to have that damage repaired as well. The vehicle had to be towed away due to a complete lack of brakes on the vehicle, if there is any issues remaining with the running ability of the vehicle, that will be covered under her 12 month / 12000 mile warranty that comes with all of our repairs. In regards to being over charged, are there lesser priced parts available, yes there is, unfortunately, we will not utilize chinese parts due to the nature in which we warranty all out repairs, therefore we utilize name brand parts only.
