      Be warned - terrible service.Be warned - a 1 Star star experience, (frustratingly poor, in fact), due to poor management, when a 5 Star rating could've been easily achieved, we felt. Big Sky Montana's service is completely corporate, nice on phone while they delay and do not remedy the many, many concerns brought due to poor management and property upkeep. Worst was a pull out sofa sleeper with an air mattress and pump nozzle that didn't fit. I specifically called to make sure 5 couples could sleep comfortably - was told "yes", (one on pull-out - I get it - they're not perfect beds). But after having to rig the inflation, the mattress seal then leaked. I had married guests sleeping on sofas. A mattress in a box was dropped off in a box, (not placed on bed). And no fire starters or kindling and paper, AND the firewood didn't burn. Really? You travel to Montana with your feet up on a day off from skiing and the Montana property management hasn't figured out how to buy and rotate in seasoned wood. That's awful. They will not care that you cannot have a fire, (I called last year, previous stay, again this year - zero remedy or apology for that). Deck wasn't shoveled, (photo), and had no recent major snowfall. Hot tub missing cushions, (photos). Master bath drawer completely off glides/rails, photos). Be warned about Stay Montana. I told them I would have to give a poor review if they didn't address my many concerns, and I did not get the feeling they cared. At all. They run these units for profit, savagely protect their income, and readily and probably regularly accept negative customer experiences rather than work even a little harder and pay for the service needed to not anger customers. Even when problems are brought to their attention. If you want to hear, "'I'm sorry you feel that way", in a pleasantly scripted voice, while they not give the feeling they care about you or your stay, then book with Stay Montana.

      Be very careful when booking through this agency. I thought I had bought cancel anytime for any reason insurance. When I tried to file a claim, it turns out that the policy that the insurance company knew I had bought was not cancel any time for any reason.When I tried to get remedy from Stay Montana, they referred me back to the insurance company and said that I should have studied the rental agreement. I booked through their website so there's no way to confirm which policy was selected other than what was ultimately fed through.I am now out the whole amount and Stay Montana couldn't care less.
