    Reserved a room on 11/7/22 for 2 adults 2 children for the dates of 11/12 through 11/15/22. My CC was charged the full amount of $276.31 on 11/8/22. We weren't informed that we were to be placed in a teepee that has no heat whatsoever we would have to supply our own heat in the middle of November in *******. Our youngest child has come down with a severe case of flu and it's spreading to the family another reason why we weren't coming. We canceled more than 72 hours in advance and this company will only give us 50% of our refund back. When tried to contact company to have them explain why and work this out they refuse to call us back. The entire reservation from start to cancellation was a complete disaster. We're entitled to a full refund but aren't going to receive it.

    As I explained when you called to cancel your reservation, you booked on-line on November 07, 2022 and called to cancel on November 09, 2022. We are able to offer a full refund if you call within 24 of making the reservation. After the 24 hours have passed,  we are able to offer you a full credit, with no expiration, so that you could rebook at a time that would work better for you and your family. You opted to receive 50% refunded back to your credit card rather than a full credit towards your next stay. When we spoke, I encouraged you to upgrade to a cabin because of the cold weather. With you living in ********* *******, I'm sure you know how cold ******* ******* can be. I have attached our policies from our website so that you can clearly see I have followed all guidelines and procedures. It says, :
     
     
    Cancellations/Re-booking: We are aware that plans change and unexpected events arise. Please contact us before 48 hrs from your check-in date/time and we will allow you to re-book your reservation for a later date. Re-booking for cancellations made after 48 hrs from check-in date/time will be issued at the discretion of the owner/manager and are not guaranteed.
    Same Day Booking and Cancellations: A 50% refund is issued when a reservation is made and cancelled within 24 hrs from check-in time
