    A bid for repair was requested in May 2022 from this company(Spartan Gutter Guard/Spartan **** Services) and a bid sheet (bid # **) was received by me from this company on 5/23/2022 for a total net cost to me of $2523.00. They requested that if I accepted the bid, to sign and return a copy of the bid sheet to them, which I did on the same day I received it, also on 5/23/2022. I did not hear from ***************** (owner of the company) or anyone with Spartan on the scheduling of the project or starting work by the end of June (2022). I then commenced attempting to contac **** F numerous times via phone, voicemail,email and texts with no response.I fully expected a company who prepared a bid for work, and accepted that bid for work,to follow through with scheduling and completing the work, they NEVER did! I did get one text eventually that indicated that they would get to it, but that never happened.When I never heard from *********************** or Spartan **** Services,I finally wrote a more formal complaint letter to ************ on October 8th. Almost immediately, on October 11th (almost 5 months later) I received a letter from ***********************, advising me that they could not complete the bid and was withdrawing the patio work bid as they didnt have the people with the skill set to do the work and, further, it was bid too low for the work that needs to be done. I was amazed at this response as it was the owner (***********************) that had been the one to initially send me the bid and thank me for agreeing to have his company do the work?? The work has not been completed and wont be now that winter is closing in. Others need to BEWARE of this company and avoid doing business with them or experience the same unethical, unprofessional, and misleading service (or lack thereof) that I did...
