My husband and I purchased RSI travel program for $8000 on Friday, 5/30/2025 and that amount was placed on our credit card. We had 3 business days to cancel if we decided not to move forward. On Monday 6/2/2025 we decided that the program was not for us and we were on our way to the postoffice with letter in hand to cancel when we got a call from the representative who sold us the deal ******* ******* ***** who promised to reduce the price of the program to $4250 if we agreed to keep and we would get a credit of $3750 back to our credit card. We kept the program but never received the credit. We have spoken to ***** and I received several text on this topic. The last text that I received from ***** was 6/18 stating that the refund should have been complete and that he would look into the issue to see why we haven't gotten the refund and get back to me, I have not heard from *****. I have tried several times to contact him but have been unsuccessful.Business Response

We bought a vacation package through Brio Vacation 2 years ago for $6k upfront and $50 per month. We were told by representative (through **** call) that this would entitle us to reduced travel. We've tried using this numerous times and have had no luck in getting people to return our calls. We were told we could cancel at any time. We bought into a vacation concierge service. We were promised lower prices, deals of all kinds. We were told that their member services would help us to plan our vacations and we would get into places at the lowest prices possible. They get deals that arent offered to tre general public.I have been trying for about 2 weeks to plan a trip to ******* with friends. *** submitted my request through their website, which has led to phone calls with customer service and a travel agent. I have been given conflicting information every time I speak to someone new. Such as , would you like us to look at ****? , to we NEVER use VRBO , to we try not to use VRBO. In asking for stats in *******, I was sent a selection of hotels through ******* , ******. I have spent far more time in dealing with them , and not getting helpful information , than I wouldve spent researching and booking this trip myself. I am rejecting this response because:The businesses response was a sales pitch , not any kind of offer of resolution. I talked to multiple people at ****/RSI vacations trying to get help with a trip, I am planning to *******. I was given different information from every person I spoke to. I was offered options that I was told the next day are not options. I was sent accommodations in areas I was not planning on traveling at all. I was told there are no options in the areas I want to go because they were looking in areas I did not ask to go to. This was much more work than if I just looked into it myself. The whole idea of this travel concierge service is to make travel planning easier. It has proven anything but that. When asked for a refund, I was given a phone number to the sales department. Ive called that number multiple times. No one has ever answered. That seems awfully convenient on your end. I have left detailed voicemails and not heard anything back. The only people that call me back are the member services trying to set me up with more reservations. That is not who Im trying to talk to

My wife and I received an invitation to receive a presentation for a free cruise package. There was no purchase required. We went in without the intent to buy anything but as others experienced, we failed to do enough research about this company. They were very pushy on us buying and kept lowering the price like it was such a gift to us. We felt pressured to purchase but were interested in the savings. After we received the login information the next day, we quickly found that there were very minimal discounts offered and even the cruise options was not as presented. You dont get discounted prices on cruises but receive potential rebates like 3-4 weeks later. What we were presented with was nothing like it really is. I sent my letter requesting a full cancellation and refund of the downpayment we made and attempted to call and were told that they dont handle such requests and only help booking. Every number I can find says the same thing, so I did want to also state here that my letter is in the mail before the 3 day rescission period. I am looking for some confirmation that I will get refunded the moneys I already paid upfront and warn people to please research well before falling for their sales schemes. A director just happened to handle us, because everyone was as busy, and he supposedly gave us huge discounts . Dont fall for it please. Please!!!!Business Response

We signed up for brio travel deals and the next day started to compare other rates with FREE travel sites and quickly learned that the prices were actually cheaper on the free travel sites. So canceled the very next day with a supervisor. We were instructed by this member of management to cancel via email to *** ******** program director per her instructions and now when we call they got us stuck on a message that says theyre unavailable to take our call. We have called multiple people including the original ***, ****** that signed us up all said they would make sure we would get back our money but now all have us blocked. They are all liars and scam you for your money. DONT DO IT!!!!!!!Business Response

We were told we had a choice of a free vacation if attending a webinar, we did the presentation sounded wonderful. It took a few weeks to get the so called free vacation, but we didn't have a choice, only the cruise, that we ended up paying over 1k for fees. It would have been the same if we were to make our own reservations through the cruise it self. Then we were not able to view their website until after we committed to buy. They made it seem so good. So we committed and paid over 7k, then it took almost a week to get onto their website to search for deals, after their 3 day cancelation policy. So when we finally got to explore the website, there isn't any good deals for all areas, their prices are way to expensive, not what they presented to us. They misrepresented the deals, the cheaper ones, they do not show any pics of properties, so we dont know what kind of resort it is, could be a run down place. They did nothing but misrepresented their company. If we could have looked at the website prior to the 3 day cancelation, we would have cancelled. But we were screwed by this point. I want out of this contract, and refunded. I am sure I will be able to start a class action lawsuit, or just one on our own. I have contacted an attorney and was advised with misrepresentations, that we have a case.Business Response

May 8, 2025 We joined Brio Vacations under the impression that we'd receive deep discounts on hotels, cruises and vacations. Today, we received our info for the website and, after comparing prices, we realized we don't see much of a discount at all. The cruises did not offer significant discounts either. After accessing their website, we felt scammed, which prompted me to visit the Better Business Bureau website, where we found many complaints similar to ours. We are truly upset about this and would like to request a full refund today. We're disappointed in ourselves for not researching more thoroughly before attending the presentation and signing up. The contract contains a cancellation clause that states the following: "You may cancel this agreement, without penalty or obligation, at any time prior to midnight of the third (3rd) business day from your execution of this agreement. To cancel this agreement, you must notify the seller in writing of your intent to cancel. Your notice of cancellation shall be effective upon the date sent and shall be sent to: Brio Vacations, **********************************************." We will be mailing the cancellation letter today; however, we wanted to document that we made this effort and also attempted to call and email to cancel our membership before the three business days are up. When we called, we were informed that we connected to a travel agency and they don't work for Brio. Additionally, my emails were returned with the message: "Address not found. Your message wasn't delivered to *************************** because the address couldn't be found or is unable to receive mail." I feel compelled to warn others about this company before they attend the supposedly 60-minute presentation, which actually took over 2 hours. We purchased a vacation package through Brio Resorts which is I guess the residential arm for RSI. After learning the same night we were lied to form the representative from Brio about RSI and Brio, we cancelled the very next day which is our legal right within 72 hours. Never received a confirmation for cancelation from anyone. So, we called our credit card company to dispute and stop payment. Just recently received this months credit card statement to find Brio has "rebilled" our card for the same amount. Called them once again to find out that Brio is fighting them about cancelling which again, we have the right BY LAW to do within a 72 hour window. BEWARE-BRIO RESORTS/VACATIONS IS A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE AND RACKET WILLING TO DO/SAY ANYTHING TO GET YOUR MONEY!! We are hoping RSI will be a more stand up Company willing to do the right thing and have Brio stop billing us. We have received NOTHING for the thousands of dollars BRIO is trying to steal from us. Need to see results soon before we take the next step in having government assistance in this nightmare.Business Response

We are honoring his request even though the route taken to inform us of his decision to cancel did not follow the designated procedure. Thus, we did not know of his intention to cancel his membership.
All new members are provided both an email address and a physical address in which to send their cancelation letter. In this case, the consumer simply replied to an automated email notifying him his membership was now active. He replied to an automated, unmonitored email which was not the proper way to inform us.
We also informed the consumer that we did not charge his credit card a second time. We informed him his bank charged him again when they had determined we have not been notified of his desire to cancel.

We were offered a free cruise with airfare if we agreed to attend a *************** discussing travel tips. Since we were already booked for a cruise, my husband and I decided to attend. The website we were given BEFORE the call was ***************. I looked everywhere for reviews and there were none. First, we were aware that they were very worried about seeing both of our faces all the time. We were not allowed to look away and those that did, even for a moment, would be booted off the call. They did NOT want us looking up their site. We kept an open mind and listened to the speakers tell about their amazing experiences with this travel club. They did NOT give us the REAL website URL until we chose to enroll and paid a huge deposit. Even then, we could not get into the site because we were told to wait to get an email about our login. If I had actually logged in and inspected the site, I would NEVER have joined. The huge discounts that the speakers flaunted were NOT there. As a computer teacher and seasoned traveler, I know how to find the BEST discounts online. They have a price match guarantee that makes you jump through so many hoops, it's ridiculous to save a few dollars. I mean literally less than $5.00. I could have saved $3.00 by using my *********** shopping app for a hotel we rented from the club. After spending thousands for a club membership, you would expect better. I called the concierge for vacation spot quotes. I had to wait for those to come in the next day. Our 3-day cancellation period was over and we had barely even seen the site or used the service! That's pretty scammy. The "free" vacation costs about $600. There is no place to see what you've paid or owe on the site. Talk about Buyer's Remorse! I want a full refund. I have no desire to travel only off-season or hurricane season-and that's when the "club" offers the only amazing discounts like they mentioned on the call. I want a full refund.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:I have NOT been contacted by the company. If they have tried to contact me to make this right, why have I not received a phone message or an email? They have my phone and email. I don't answer numbers I don't recognize due to so many spam calls. I want to be contacted in writing. Email is fine. I want proof of all agreements and disagreements. I wish the BBB would attend one of your Zoom calls that promise amazing discounts. They would see that the bargains presented are nowhere to be found. I have compared it with other online sites that have NO fees, and can beat most of their prices. Certainly not worth $7000 worth of value or a yearly fee! I want my deposit back and the contract cancelled. They said they didn't want my money if we didn't see the value. I don't see it. Please keep your word. If I had researched the company with the correct name, I would not have joined. They made sure we didn't know it. They are not even registered with the BBB as they claimed. I feel scammed.

Received a free cruise for a zoom meeting on March 13 we did the Zoom meeting and I tried for three weeks to get the freecruise finally on March 26. I was able to talk to an agent and get a booking for one they took 202 99 on **************** for deposit and told me that Id be getting back with in four weeks to let me know whether or not that cruise was open. I explained that the cruise was for May because it was a limited time and that was within the timeframe of the process after conservation my husbandand I decided to ask for a refund on April 4 will send a certified letter they received it on April 8. Ive tried numerous phone to get through to them to Fallon on 417. We got a call from ****************** stating that we were in for our payment and they gave us a phone number I called thatphone number and spoke with someone and they told me that a manager would be getting back to me.
