  After 3 months of repeated missed pickups and because of this bears spreading our trash all over the *****, of having to haul our full, unemptied cans back up a hill at night to lock in the shed, of multiple frustrating communications with and excuses from the company, we finally cancelled our account. The last excuse was they were short handed. When I learned the company was based in *****, that was the final straw. It seemed they didnt care and wanted me to quit. Its terrible that *************** has given *** a monopoly for a seven year contract to provide a basic service, and the company is incompetent. Now we have to drive to the transfer station.FCC Environmental is a huge international company and, it seems, has an effective propaganda machine. No doubt they will apologize for the inconvenience admit they have had problems, and talk about how they have improved. They are now doing listening tours. None of this matters. Many people in ********, especially up the rural roads, have just quit trying. I hope Buncombe cancels the contract. St. Johns County in ******* terminated their contract last year only after a few weeks.

  I called them to cancel service I February, talked to an actual representative on the phone with them. I told them I wished to cancel service at the end of service period. Heard nothing from until this week, when I received an email stating charges for ****** **** June. They have note on account to cancel service. Was told that since I did not pay for Jan and February, which was waiting for final bill amount, that they can not cancel service. So they opened a new account with my info to continue charging monthly for no services and not allowing me to pay for the months of Jan and Feb. Absolutely a scam business and utterly despicable as the county selected them and should embarrass and ashamed of their selection for trash pick up.

  They hit my mailbox pole with the can lift and snapped the pole like a toothpick. Called and complained. Man came out and said 'I'll fix this by the end of today'. They never fixed anything and my husband fixed it about five days later.They lie.

  This company is horrible. I dont have trash service with them, but they delivered trash cans to my address. I have never used them and then I all of a sudden get a bill in the mail. I have made multiple attempts to call and resolve the issue but no ever answers. I leave messages and no one returns my calls.

  *** has failed to pick up my trash continuously. I have asked for their services for two months and have only had them do their job twice. They do not have an efficient communication services with their waste pick up employees and talking to their manager has also done nothing because only my neighbors trash gets picked up and mine is just left. It is unreasonable for me to call every week to make sure that they pick up my trash and yet they dont. The only thing they do right is send bills out on a timely manner for services that they dont provide.

  I live in ********, **. Our trash service was changed from ******** to *** starting 1/2/25. Since that time, they have picked up our recycling container ONE time and it was 1 week late. Myself and several neighbors have called. The call is routed to a satellite office in ********. You can leave a complaint, but have no way of escalating the issue. The person answering the phone cannot tell you how the company will handle your concern, they simply report the complaint to the company. I have requested a refund for services which have not been provided. I was told that my request would be passed on. You cannot speak to anyone who can facilitate change or provide a response. This company is awful.

  *** still has not delivered us our garbage containers since they took over for waste management. This has been going on for 45+ days. I have called multiple times, emailed multiple times and filled out the form online. Nobody has called me back.
