FCC Environmental is the trash pick-up company that services this area. I've called several times since my family has moved here. They keep saying that they will deliver the bins, that they will be picking up our trash on Friday's, for that is our supposedly pick-up day, they will be running today, to now that the truck driver supposedly forgot to turn down our road they will be running tomorrow, which will be Saturday 7/19/25. They haven't ran, not one time since I required their services and they are the only one that serves this area. I required their services more than 3 weeks ago. I am not alone. This whole entire neighborhood is being charged for trash-pickup services, but no one is getting their trash picked up and it's being strewn everywhere by the animals. We all are having trouble with the bears because of this problem. This is not only an environmental problem, since we do have a stream and creek (Reems Creek) that it gets into and pollutes, but it can also harm the animals, don't you think? They offer and charge for the services, they are legally bound to deliver on those services. Thank you for your time, and I hope that this issue can be resolved soon.Business Response

I moved into my new home in April, I paid the start up fee for trash cans and weekly service pickup for trash. Its almost July. I still have not received my trash bins or one single trash pickup, they sent me a bill yesterday for PAYMENT OF THE ***** CANS I HAVE NOT EVEN RECEIVED. Ive never even had my trash picked up from them. I have called mulitple times trying to get a refund or customer assistance and have been met with nothing but mono tone people who could care less. Thus company is awful and thats what everyone else says too. I just want a refund for the money I paid for the services I never received.Business Response

*** took over the trash pick up in our county at the beginning of the year. We are supposed to have pick up service every Friday. The company has not picked up our trash on any regular schedule. We get sporadic pick up whenever I call and register a complaint. I have contacted this company nearly every week and spoken to a representative that always says they are esculating the issue. Although I request to be contacted, no one returns my calls. I have also written numerous emails. I want a full refund for the service that I have paid for and I want my service to be done every Friday as promised.Business Response

This company is a trash service that requires us to use bear proof bins if we need them, but has never had any available for us to use. We have to protect our trash from getting strung out all through the *****, so we installed bear straps to protect our trash since there is not any bear proof bins available. This company came to collect trash, and instead of clicking the seatbelt style button to release the strap, they cut all of our straps in half, rendering them ************ everyday the bears are throwing our trash all over the road and dragging it into the forest because *** is giving us zero options and destroying our only lines of defense. Our bins are collected at the bottom of our neighborhood, so we dont have the option of leaving them somewhere else protected. **************** doesnt care and doesnt have other solutions. This isnt just a nuisance but an environmental problem with trash getting spread all over the forest.Business Response

I continue to receive bills from *** environmental even though I have never used their service. I have contacted them at least 4 times by phone and once through their system telling them I am not using their service and asking the to please pick up the trash cans they sent to my house that I did not ask for. I keep getting the run around saying they cannot pick up the cans or they will pick up the cans but they cannot tell me when this will happen, and cancel the charges but nothing happens and they keep billing me. This has been going on since december of last year when the other service company ended their service. Every time I call they act like I have never called before. Please help.thanksBusiness Response

We have paid for *** trash/recycling services since January 4, 2025. We have not received the 96 gallon trash or recycling can and it is June 15. We have paid for service since that time and our trash is not being picked up. Since we dont have cans we were told to use what we had until they got some. Again its June. I have asked a supervisor to call me, I have put in at LEAST 10 tickets, and my husband even went to the location on ****************** and still no help. We have been paying someone else in addition to *** to get the trash. I even asked to cancel and have still been charged. There is no attempt to help and we are and have been paying for a service that we do not receive. Last week they got all the other cans around it and knocked ours over and didnt get the trash so it was spread everywhere. I am to the point of contacting the County Commissioners because this is stealing and fraud at this point.Business Response

We created an account in January & have made 12 tickets for them to drop off our trashcan & recycling bin. It's been six ************* still have not done this or picked up our trash. FCC environmental started serving the ************ area Jan 1 2025. In the past 4 weeks *** has not picked up the trash on my street. Each time I call to inform them of missed pick up I am told it will be "escalated" and I will receive a credit. Neither of these things have happened. I asked for written confirmation that the problem is escalated and I will receive a credit but they state they can not provide this. I am being charged for a service that FCC environmental is not providing. I do not have another trash pick up service available in my area.Business Response
