They lack in transparent communication and follow-up. I rearranged my vacation to be home for a repair to a section of my roof AAR did in 2021. This would have been their third time out to address this. I was told they would be out “Thursday or Friday” to address the issue. I called Thursday and was told I was on their schedule for that afternoon. A little after 3pm I called to see if anyone was going to show up. I was told they were delayed on a project, but would definitely be at my house the next day “after lunch”. I called at 2:30pm Friday 12/22 to be told they were still going to come out, the repair person was finishing up a porch build, but would definitely be out to my house today. 5pm - and a no show, with zero communication. I then see from a post earlier in the month on their Facebook page, that they will be closed from 12/25 to January 1. This would have been good information to communicate to me over the course of the conversations the last two days, but it was never mentioned. So just be warned, communication is not their strong suit. I want to believe they will make things right in a timely manner, but today, I’m doubtful.

I do apologize that you felt a lack of communication from our office. We were trying everything in our power to get everyone taken care of before the holiday's which made Friday the 22nd a very busy day. I did call you on the 22nd to let you know that we would be out the next morning. We arrived on the 23rd as planned and completed your repair. I do apologize no one called you earlier on Friday and thank you for your patience and understanding throughout the holidays.

Well on June 16th we agreed to have a new metal roof put on and reinforce some trusses during the replacement of our roof. On July 20th they show up. The crew that showed up was a subcontracted company out of Greensboro by the name Fierce Roofing LLC. The only person from All About Roofing who was to supervise the all Hispanic crew whom spoke no English was here around 4 hours out of maybe 13 hours (2 days). He only showed up when one of Fierce Roofings guy fell thru our roof and through our ceiling. We now have a hole covered with wood in my dining room. When we called Jeremy at all about Roofing to have him come and see the damage. He proceeded to argue with my husband. When I emailed them with questions I would get a negative response from Michelle. So all in all it took them 4 weeks to do the job, the actual company didn't do the job and all we got in return was attitude. As for the price it is in the thousands (inheritance money) and they will take it all. I am disappointed and hurt by this local company that doesn't take us low income clients serious.
They only subtracted $500 from our bill to replace all this ceiling drywall and we don't know how to fix all this and can't afford to hire someone to do it for us.
    FYI Later:
Once the roof was on, on September 6th noticed water leaking in our bedroom. Sent them a picture of the damage, they (AAR Co.) came the very next morning and fixed it. They gave us a number of a guy to come out to our house about the wall, never called back so I sent him a text. We have yet heard from him. Now as it stands we have a hole in our ceiling, three cracks in our ceiling drywall all about 12 feet long and a wall in our bedroom with water damage. We are out thousands of dollars and we don't have the money to fix all these problems left from their subcontracted company. We would have been better off keeping our old roof. Very unprofessional!!!!
Do you homework before you use this company.
    The wife.

When Jeremy came out to give you all an estimate he was upfront and honest about the entire process. He looked your home & roof over inside & out. You all neglected your roof to the extent that your ceiling was caving in, cracking, falling down. Jeremy then called another company out there that specializes in ceiling work to make sure everyone was on the same page because the ceiling was in such bad shape. Jeremy and Max (with the other company) explained everything to your husband. They explained that we would have to jack your roof up due to the neglect causing it to cave in. They explained that by jacking up the roof this would cause more damage to the ceiling. Your husband was okay with this as it had to be done to replace the wood correctly. We do have before pictures of the inside of your home that we can post on here to show everyone that reads these reviews the condition your home & ceiling was in before we replaced your roof. Yes, one of our crew members did step through your roof due to the horrible condition it was in. Jeremy and myself (2 owners) did come out afterwards and discuss this with your husband. We asked for you to be present in this meeting as you had not been present for any of the communication throughout this process. You refused to be present yet again. During this meeting Jeremy examined your ceilings again. He then offered your husband for us to fix the ceiling where our guy had stepped through or give him a $500 discount off the bill. Your husband chose the $500! I do have the recording of this meeting to prove that there was no arguing or negative comments made. I also have copies of all the email correspondence between you and I that I can provide. As you have stated yourself, every time you have reached out to us we have immediately came out to address your concerns. However, you were never present. We had to discuss your concerns with your husband. We fulfilled our contract and installed a beautiful new metal roof on your home with a 10-year workmanship warranty. It is now your responsibility to repair the inside damage caused by the many years of neglect on your part.

It isn't the issues in your long winded explanation, it's the fact that our house has a hole in the ceiling and water damage.  These two issues shouldn't have happened.... period. These problems need to be bought to light by your customer to the consumers before deciding on this place of business to do work on their roof.......Period!
