  This was my first time shipping a car, I was recommended Sherpa by a friend who had used them. It was very easy and they were very good at communicating about pick-up times and drop-off.

  In my opinion, Sherpa was a fantastic choice. This was my first experience with shipping a car and the Sherpa representatives walked me through it step-by-step and made me feel confident and comfortable with the whole process. I would recommend them to anybody looking for this type of service.

  Agreement to ship car reached five weeks in advance. No word received from Sherpa until one week before after I contacted them. They did not have a carrier but were "confident" they would get one. Two days before the end of my five day window they said they had a driver so I was fully prepared and expecting to have the car shipped. The afternoon before we were leaving the carrier cancelled leaving ** no choice but to change our plans and drive the car back. Which was a significant impact on our schedule. For Sherpa it seemed business as usual but for ** it was awful. I will never use them again and perhaps never use a broker again.

  We secured a reputable carrier for your shipment. Unfortunately, the carrier canceled on us last minute, which put us in a bind. We are as disappointed as you are that the carrier caused disruption.

  It was my first time using Sherpa. I paid extra for the 3-day window, which the sales rep said would almost certainly guarantee a pickup within the quoted time frame. After Sherpa missed the pickup window, I was asked if I would like to pay additional money to improve the chances a driver would select my car. Reluctantly, I paid another $125. Finally, I was assigned a driver 2 days later. The driver selected did an excellent job, but I was disappointed that I basically paid more twice and my vehicle was still picked up two days late.

  DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. I paid a $200 premium for a specified pick up window. The driver did not show up. I requested a refund of the $200 premium I paid. They gave excuses, claiming it was "not guaranteed" and they refused to refund even the premium. No apologies, no shame. I tried calling their service helpline, was on hold for a long time, then got a recording "no one is here to help you". I called the sales line, they picked up immediately. Basically, Sherpa has a bunch of slick sales people, but they don't stand behind their promises. Who does business like this? I will never use Sherpa again. You shouldn't either.
