    I rented a car from Mega MC ************************************************** from 5/18-5/20/2024. I was told $350.00 additional would be a holding fee for the rental. I contacted Mega MC @ ************ several times and was told they had issues with their systems and that is why the holding fee charge went through. I was told on I would get the $350.00 charge credited back to my account and still have not received my credit.

    From May 6, 2024, through May 11, 2024, I rented a vehicle from Mega MC Rental (aka Economy Rent A Car) in *********, **. The initial price quoted and sent via email confirmation to me was $275.59. I was then told I had to leave an additional deposit over the price quoted even though I was using a credit card (AMEX). That deposit was $405.12. That brings the total charged on May 6, 2024, at $680.71. I requested and was granted one additional day which resulted in a one-day charge of $91.09. That brings my total charged to my cards at $771.80 and my rental total to $366.68 which is also the amount on the receipt I received when I returned the car on time, damage free (I took video of the entire car in their lot upon return) and with a full tank of gas. All of this is verified in the receipt I received on May 11, 2024. I was then told my deposit would be refunded within 3-5 business days. On May 15, 2024, I received an email from them (attached) telling me my rental was not returned. I emailed them back with my receipts of proof to which they responded on May 16, 2024, with a generic "thanks for bringing this to our attention and they will investigate". On May 22, 2024, I called to ask when my deposit would be released back to my card as it is now 8 business days past the rental return. I was told the detailer reported the car had damage and they were keeping my deposit. I told the lady (********) that I have a receipt showing nothing was wrong as well as a video (I can't seem to upload it to your website). I asked to speak to a supervisor and for his/her name at which point she told me she wasn't allowed to give out that information. I was also called a curse by an individual named **** who was ******* the counter on May 11, 2024. He became combative and rude after he told me to just leave the car but I insisted on a receipt.

    We have reviewed *******************'s request and would like to provide the following clarifications from our side:

    1. The charges for damages have been removed from the invoice.
    2. The charge for the additional day has also been removed from the invoice.
    3. The total reservation amount was $275.59 excluding taxes and fees. Our company set the rate at $256.76 excluding taxes and fees when the contract was signed, which is lower than $275.59.
    4. The total amount with taxes and fees was $346.68.
    5. The client paid a total amount of $441.09 ($350 + $91.09).
    6. Our company refunded $94.41 to his card.

    Please note that the amounts stated by Mr. ******************* are not accurate.

    On 4/7/2024 I rented a car from Mega Mc. When arrived I paid my dues and deposit. I was told I would receive a copy of everything I sign agreement and receipt. After completing this process the employee was looking at cars to decide which one I would be getting. The guy working ends up giving me a black canary but stated they had not had time to cleaned since last dropped of by practitioner. I told the guy I could just run thru the car wash. I dropped the car off at MegaMc. On Saturday 4/13 I dropped the rental off around 10:00 am. The clerk took the keys and said he would send me copies of my receipt . Later about 3:00 pm on 4/13 I notice the rental company charged my car an additional ******. I called the rental company several times, whomever answer would hang right up. So I kept calling back after 5-6times. I get a lady on the line and inquiry about the charge. She then puts me on hold comes back and says oh cleaning fees . I say cleaning fees for what . The clerk than tells me they are keeping my deposit as well as the deposit of 350 for smoking fees. I told the woman no one has smoked in there car She hungs up on me. I call back and asks to speak to the guy that I previously dealt with and be sent all agreements that they claimed they would send and also the final bill. After receiving I called back I was charged cleaning fees, burn fee of a seat and late charges, 3 extra hour charge that should not have been charged. I called back to go over why I was charged these amounts the lady was rude and made it seemed I ruined there vehicle. I requested to speak with the guy clerk I dealt with how can. Over all I was way over charged for services that they claimed i caused without notice of damages until I inquire. The car was rented to me not previously cleaned in or out.side. ***** felt like they ripped me off because they could. I was charged almost $850.00 more then I agreed to.

    My original bill was told to be ****** plus a 350 deposits, I added a additional day for another 177. I returned vehicle on 4/13 around 10:00 am.

    I rented a prepaid car from Mega MC car rental in ********* **************.They are trying to charge me with a bogus minor damage charge. There was no damage to car. Reading other reviews im seeing this is common for them to add on bogus charges
