I've been getting multiple calls per day from ********************. The robotic voicemail states to call *******************. I finally got annoyed enough to call the number and after 2-3 attempts I had the pleasure of speaking with *******. Apologies to her if I have misspelled her name. I gave her the case number that was provided on the voicemail. The call started out as about as professional as an attempt to fraud can go. She told me I took out a loan from a payday loan company in 2017 that goes by various names. Total BS...I never took out a payday loan. She became very agitated and rude. I then began to defend myself and she got extremely rude and eventually hung up on me after her accusations. She threatened ********* would process a garnishment and I basically told her to go for it. I asked for proof and never received any documents she claimed were mailed to my home. I then searched online for "Wakefield Recovery" and came across *********************************** ************************************* person I spoke to was extremely professional and polite. She said I was not in their database. Whether it is the same company or not, I am not sure. I then called ******* back and she was not happy and claimed I was harassing her. Really? I tried to call back a few more times and I guess she blocked my calls. I left her a VM and basically told her to get a real job and stop scamming. They messed with the wrong MF. I hope she calls back. These types of people need to be stopped.

I was contacted by Wakefield recovery services and they said I owed $800 from a pay day loan from 2016. Which is not true. Never applied for a payday loan during that time. Last time I applied for a PD loan was over 12 years ago and they were ALL paid off. I told the person over the phone that I had emails proving that I paid off all the loans and he went on to threaten me with being taken to court and that I should be ready to get served papers. These people are clearly scammers and are out to scam people out of their money. I hope they get investigated. They need to be looked into. If I could leave zero stars I would

This Company called me today. ***** told me that it was very urgent that my husband pay a past due hospital bill from ****. It was $3,410.00 and that if we did not pay today, he will be served by the *********************** today and they will garnish his wages at 22% and they were going to seize our assets. I told her that he had never been to this hospital. I called the hospital where they said he did not pay the bill. I found out that they have no records or bills from my husband ever being at this hospital. I called ***** back and told her that I was ready to pay the bill in full. She asked for my credit card number, then I told her that I called the hospital and he has never been there. I told her that she was running a scam and that I was going to report her to the authorities. She said don't ever call her again and she hung up.

I was contacted by this company stating that I owe a debt to a speedy cash from 2016 upon calling speedy cash. They do not use this entity as any type of collection. They also sent me a text message document stating that I owe a *******.com. Upon checking into loan now the phone number goes to a tax preparation company. I have emailed them with no response. I have been threatened with court but they will not give me any actual information on whom I owe they just want to collect money. I have been in touch with the local sheriffs department and the corporate office of speedy cash. I have been told not to pay any type of claimed debt that they will not give me any information on. I reported this to them and ask them for the specifics on what I owe and to whom I recorded the conversation and they will not give me any further information. Instead, they tell me youve talk to 12 other people you made your decision. We are not helping you mediate this any further, and they disconnect.

Sadly back in 2014 I filed bankruptcy. They are calling about a debt that was on my bankruptcy. I've requested the original debt to be sent but they refused. I received a call today saying my account is delinquent and asked once again for the original debt and the man hung up on me. They have been calling me on and off over since September 2022. They have never sent anything that was requested showing the original debt. They also stated I signed something which I have not.

Was contacted by this company for a supposed bad check collection. The employee was named **** and she was extremely rude and abusive. She would not say where or when the check was written. She said the check was written from **** of America Acct which we haven't had since ****. She finally emailed a letter of collection, and the letter lists Advance America as the place the check was written. Strangely we have written hundreds of payday loans there over the past several years. One would think if there was a bad check, they wouldn't allow additional loans to be written. I am 100% combat wounded Veteran and don't deserve to be spoken to like a piece of c*** I truely believe this company is running a scam. I contacted the bad check division of the **************** and they have no record of a bad check. I contacted Advance America and they have no record of a bad check. I will be contacting the ** **** of ****** ************************ and will be pursuing legal action against Wakefield for harassment and liable and slander.
