Date of transaction: July 17, 2024 And August ****** I tried to get a refund of ticket master first they couldnt do it and I tried to file a dispute with my bank and the venue still dont care.I had went to a concert hosted here which the timing was set at 6:30 the show was post poned for 2 hours and let the show go on for a hour and cut everyone else off the tour. People on lawn was sent into their cars and they wouldnt let anyone back in the gate and staff working there told people it was canceled so people went home. I feel scammed and my money was took for putting up a half a** show for one hour just so they can grab peoples money and not have to issue a refund. And they are deleting post on social media and people complaining and trying to cover this up.Business Response

I paid a sum total of $385.04 for two tickets to a show 8 months in advance, took time off work (lost wages), and drove 3 hours. 4 out of the 5 performers were canceled and the show headliner was delayed 4 hours. When the headliner finally went on, their set was cut short because the venue wanted to close. I did not receive what I paid for and reasonably expected out of my purchase. The show was delayed due to weather (although the venue claims their shows are rain or shine), but they should have rescheduled instead of cutting everything off or short. Because of this, I feel I was scammed out of almost $400 dollars, because I paid for something I didn't get, and I want a refund or partial refund.I tried contacting the venue, and they have not gotten back to me. I have reached out on their social media (instagram) page by commenting and sending messages, and I called them. No resolution has been brought forth.Business Response

Concert 8/3/24, I Prevail and *********. The show was cut short by 30 minutes, approximately half of I Prevail's set due to "severe weather". No such storm ever materialized. Due to the reduced show, I am requesting 25% refund or equivalent compensation from Livenation. (approximate cost of the 2 tickets was $160)Business Response

I purchased tickets for the I Prevail/********* US Tour at PNC Music Pavillion. The date of the show was August 3rd, 2024 at 6pm. PNC Music Pavillion abruptly ended I Prevail's set without warning to customers or the band due to severe weather that never occurred at the venue or in the surrounding area.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:
On PNC Music Pavillion's website, all of their shows are advertised as rain or shine."All shows will go on rain or shine. However, in the event of severe weather we will keep our fans notified via our social media pages."
"An event may be delayed, postponed, or canceled depending on the severity of the weather expected."
In addition to that policy, their cancelation policy is as follows:
"Cancellations will only occur in the event of severe weather, artist cancellation, or circumstances beyond control. In the event of a cancellation we will notify fans and any information about a potential rescheduled date will be made available. Refunds will be available at the point of purchase."
The PNC Music Pavillion representative that I spoke to stated that they had a meteorologist on sight monitoring weather conditions throughout the duration of the show, which means they had ample time to disclose to customers that severe weather was incoming, or "imminent", as it was phrased by the representative. I was also informed that the "severe weather" was a public safety issue. If that was the case, the venue would not have made thousands of people, a good portion of those being under the influence of alcohol, evacuate all at once, and be forced to sit in traffic for over an hour at said venue, in said "severe weather." They did not offer any form of compensation for canceling the portion of the show thousands of people paid hundreds of dollars to see.

I am rejecting this response becauseI originally accepted the explanation via phone call, but after processing that a meteorologist was present on sight at the venue, they knew ahead of time about possible inclement weather, and doing more research into their policies, I feel that PNC Music Pavillion did not handle this situation appropriately at all.
This is also not the only event this has occurred at. Attached are some ****** reviews of other patrons who attended shows the weekend of August 2nd-4th. The venue ******** page has been deleting negative comments from other customers who were upset about how the venue was handling these events.

I attended a concert on August 3rd, 2024. (I prevail) They kicked us out of the venue in a hurry for severe weather, even though there was NO bad weather. You could see the sky through the clouds. There was NO rain, no wind, no lightning, no thunder. The weather radar didnt even show it for several hours. Only about an hour and a half later, and 20 miles away did it rain. And it rained for maybe 5 minutes. I believe they lied about why they forced everyone to leave. Ive waited years to see this show. I drove 4 hours to be there, made work arrangements and spent hundreds of dollars. This was very important to not only me but many people there. The concert was ruined, and they were NOT kind about it when making us leave!! I have been at this same venue in the past, sitting outside in the SOAKING rain, thunder and lightning, I got drenched. And the show was not canceled. Their policy clearly states the show will go on RAIN OR SHINE. I demand this venue give me some of my money back so that I can save up to HOPEFULLY get the chance to see this artist again. I have never been so disappointed and disrespected.Business Response

We stayed there an hour and a half later trying to get out of the parking lot. No rain. No lightning. Nothing. This needs to be fixed. I prevail was ****** that there show was getting ruined. And all of the fans were upset. We drove 4 hours to this show. Got a hotel. With that being said we spent around 700 dollars.Business Response

I purchased 5 tickets total on 3 different dates for the Loserville 2024 Concert that was held at PNC Music Pavilion. First 2 tickets purchased with 2 lawn chair rentals were on 12/7/23. Total for those were $156.28. I purchased another 2 tickets on 7/9/24 for a total of $64.99. The 5th ticket I purchased was on 8/2/24 for a total of $32.63. The show was for 8/2/24. We waited around for hours with it raining on and off with no updates of what was going on. While we were waiting for hours we were not allowed to purchase food, alcohol, or even get my lawn chairs I had pre purchased for the event. We tried and the lady at the building said they could not give any out. We were told to go back to our cars and even had staff saying to leave. When we finally did leave at 9:30pm, it was lighting bad and were told it had to be 30 minutes of no lighting before anything would happen. The weather got worse so we left and walked back to our car finally. Only to find out Limp Bizkit finally came on at 10pm to play a rushed performance WHILE it was lighting, but yet they were not allowed to perform in the on and off rain earlier even though the tickets said rain or shine when I purchased them. By the time anyone knew he was performing, officers directing traffic in the parking lot would not let people back in. I paid for a show that was suppose to start at 6:30pm and it didnt start until 10pm. None of the other headliners played. There is no way they played their complete set when it started at 10pm and there is a noise ordinance at 11pm. I am highly disappointed with how the venue handled this situation considering I bought 5 tickets and 2 lawn chair rentals to not see one song performed from ANY band. I understand no one can control the weather, but they should not put rain or shine on the tickets if they wont play in the rain nor should they wait until the last minute to let the band perform, just so they could get out of refunding people their money back.Business Response

The music pavilion ended a concert and cut the set of the headliner indicating bad weather was inbound for the Aug. 3rd show for I Prevail. We reviewed the radar and historical lightning maps and there were no lightning strikes or bad weather in the area at the time. The band would have finished their set at around 10:55pm. By the time we were leaving the pavilion it was 11:20pm or so and it didn't rain at all nor was a single lightning strike occurring. In addition, the pavilions social media team has been actively scrubbing the social media accounts to hide the fact that bad weather never occurred and they cut sets for the band(who was actually visibly upset). For weather that never materialized. I have multiple screenshots of the issue(attached) and it did not rain at all during the show nor was a single strike of lightning seen. Livenation is refusing to refund people due to this being a "promotor issue". The venue states rain or shine. There was no rain event or lightning at the pavilion until at least 12am(which is 1 hour after the mandated curfew in charlotte). I am out $250 for this venue not being able to fully deliver the show and cutting the band that roughly 9500 people wanted to see play.Business Response
