This business is disgusting and needs to be regulated by the county/city. My car wasnt even parked for 20 minutes and it was towed away. I was over charged and felt so unsafe dealing with these people both on the phone and in person while retrieving my vehicle late at night. Everything the negative reviews say about them is 100 the truth. These people need to be removed from their authority there was no reason for them to tow my car in a lot that doesnt even require a permit let alone after less than 20 minutes of my car being parked. They have predatory behavior and are absolutely disgusting.

You didnt indicate what lot you were towed from but any lot we service is private property and Towing Enforced signs are clearly posted per city ordinance with the fees include. You evidently choose to park there still regardless of the towing signs warning you. Going forward please respect others property and follow the parking rules and you can avoid this situation.

My car was booted with no signage in front of my parking spot or nearby. When I challenged the man who showed up to remove it he told me there didnt need to be signage to justify it. I said I was going to call CMPD to be a tie breaker since we were at odds and he got in my face and said I could pay $225 now or get towed. Even after I paid, he wouldnt remove the boot until I signed a receipt saying I was satisfied with service. When I told him I didnt want to sign because obviously I did not think there was grounds to boot my car he once again threatened to tow my car if I didnt sign. Regardless of whether I was rightfully booted or not which I still stand by - I felt physically intimidated and pressured into paying and signing so as to not be towed.

Unfortunately you were illegally parked which led to you being booted. All properties we service have the required towing signage at each entrance per city ordinance. You have the choice to pay card or cash but it is company policy that you do have to sign in order to have the vehicle released if paying by card. Please pay attention to *********** and follow the parking rules going forward.

Predatory towing. They told me point blank that they dont patrol my building lot and I was fine in MY spot even though I was waiting on my tag. They booted me after telling me that, waited for me to go inside and booted me. They are the worst people in the world. No wonder why this is their profession.

There is running a business, then theres being a bottom feeder predator. Ive known multiple people who have had a situation, including my two daughters over the last couple of years, with this business. I have never seen a towing company that is so disconnected with customers and customer service. They avoid your calls and they hang up on your calls. Any management company, any company period that uses their services, is asking for their tenants to leave and retail shoppers to never go back. I totally understand that people can get towed. Most of us have been at one time or another. But it shouldnt be difficult to communicate to get your vehicle picked up. And when the police officers tell you that the guy running that show is known to be a total a-hole, you know that Wheel Blockers is a thorn in everyones side. There are towing companies that do their job and can still be human beings and ethical. This company is definitely the bottom of the barrel. In the end, karma will get them in their personal life. Power trip much, Wheel Blockers? Stop talking down to people. Just do your job and learn to communicate in a productive manner. I dont understand why its so hard for you to be a decent business.Into the woman who wrote about a class action lawsuit, we are in! Enough is enough already.

I was booted at my friends apartment complex. Was there for less than an hour, and Wheelblockers was creepily waiting for me in the dimly lit garage to demand $250 or not boot removal. I was honestly afraid and could not believe the intimidation tactics and price for this. Absolutely unbelievable the way the man treated me and that unbelievable fee. This is beyond a scam.

A boot was placed on my companions car while we explored the shops and restaurants along ******************** Street. I have a disability placard that was prominently displayed while we were out to dinner. Personnel that showed up demanded payment in cash or via Zelle because their square wasnt working. They said that was our problem, not theirs. Wheel Blockers provided no receipt or defined their charges, they couldve claimed any amount depending on their mood. Avoid NoDa if you can; property owners at Fat City are jerks. These practices are discriminatory and unjust.

I was blocked by Wheel Blockers then after calling from *67 to ask a question was hung up on. Two weeks prior I had the same issue of the same car parking in my reserved parking, when I called the employee was clearly sleeping in the job. I could hear him snoring and had to call back. The issues was not resolved or the same car would no be parking in the exact same spot again.

This company is a ripoff. They charge way above regular booted car rates $200. Then added an extra boot to the car. Then my son jacked the car up and said he was looking at it. Did not damage the boot. They charged me another $300 to cut the boot off.

This company has poor customer service. The guy on the phone when I called the business number hung the phone up on me. They are preparatory. Would give them 0 stars if I could.

This company is misogynistic and practices predatory behavior. DO NOT, under any circumstance, use them for your property. Would choose 0 stars after feeling ********, getting hung up on 4 times, etc., but that is not an option.
