      The same 20 plus houses consistently lose power when it rains...no one else does. Just the one little spot. This is an infrastructure issue and since we are on the edge of the district with ********** we're consistently the LAST outage on their outage maps to be addressed, every single time. Just this same spot over and over loses power...that is a problem with their equipment and maintenance. It has been an issue since I moved here in 2017 and it gets worse and worse. The bills keep going up but the service sure doesn't. I understand inclement weather and things happen. But review your records for the same dang spot over and over and over and just this small 25 or so houses continuallyhave power go out during rain. This is an REMC Equipment issue. ******************* please do something about this. There are at least 10 more people with medical devices with minimal or no back up power supply. This is getting ridiculous.

      This company by far is the worse when it comes to money grubbing. They sent a letter saying they have added a deposit amount of $175 to my bill due to an unsatisfactory payment history with them; but we've had them for almost 3 years! We paid a deposit almost 3 years ago to get the service started! If the deposit can go up to $450, they should have collected that at the time service was being established not come back almost 3 years later and say well oh your payments have been late so we need an additional $175! Are you kidding me. Let's talk a minute about their fees. These people charge a $6 late fee each time your bill is late, they charge a $20.00 fee for you to even make a pay arraignment, then they charge a $35.00 fee if the the bill is paid on the disconnect date! If you're charging all these fees why do I need to pay any additional money; you're getting your money in your fees! Yes, my bills have been late throughout the course of time I've had them, yes I've had to make payment arraignments and yes I have even paid on the disconnect date but I've paid my dues as far as those issues are concerned and I know that I have paid over $175.00 in fees alone so no they don't deserve an additional deposit! Companies like this need to stop trying to penalize people because they are poor! I am low income and I have struggles financially like a lot of people do but at the end of the day the bills have gotten paid whether they have been late or not with all applicable fees. I wish I could have another electric service, it is unfortunate that there aren't any that services this area.

      Member has had more deliguents  and citoffs that are allowed and has been billed an additional deposit.

      This was gave to her in writing whn she applied for service. We are adhering to.the policies as was explained to her. The  additional deposit can be split up in 5 payments .

       

      Next option, get bill caught up and go on bank draft and the additional deposit can be waived

      I am rejecting this response because: They repeated what I already said in my initial complaint. I know about my payment history that is not what I'm disputing. Reading comprehension is fundamental but I can tell by all the misspelled words in the response the type of people I am dealing with. You are charging fees on top of asking for an additional deposit. It should be one or the other not both. That is the point I am making. I stand on the fact that this is overkill but I will be forced to pay you because this company has to service this area. It is just an unfortunate thing.

      June 3 2022 they were there to shut power off. I was moving and left the property on June 3 I told technician to cancel and paid my last **** then moved. So I was owed 400 on a credit. They sent me 2 bills after the fact after being told to shut off 195. On July 18 they disconnected it even tho I was gone on June 3. Also charged me another 62 charge and took all the credit away now they trying to not refund me and charge me for a property I wasn't at

      The member could not have paid his last **** because  the **** he was to pay was past due and up for disconnection .  The last **** would not be produced until a final reading was taken and processed resulting in another bill  plus the PRESENT **** that had not become past due.

       

      As far as the member telling the service man to cancel he was moving that is an office duty. The member  informed our office manager he had a recorded conversation between himself and the serviceman proving what he said. He was told if he could produce that as evidence something was missed we would address the issue. NOTHING has eve been submitted
