A score of "1" is too high. If I could give a score of 0, that is what Fast Med deserves. I went to the on Ten-Ten at Kildaire Farms in Cary, NC. I got a cat bite on Tuesday. Went in 3 hours later. Saw doctor. Doctor was good. She gave me a tetanus shot + amox antibotic. She told me if red-striations appeared, then go to ER.
Today is Friday. No red-striations. But my hand is swollen and surrounding area is red. All I wanted to know was whether the swelling is normal. All I wanted was a doctor to look at it and say, "Yes" or "No" answer.
They simply would not let the doctor see me without paying for a new visit. In other words, they do not support their own work. There were no patients waiting. Just me.

MY DAUGHTER IN LAW WENT TO THE ONE FASTMED URGENT CARE MILLBROOK ROAD ON SUNDAY 02-19-2023. THE SERVICE OF THE PA WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL & POOR DOCTOR CARE,SKILLS OF GOOD OUTCOME. THERE WAS NO CLEAR CONCISE AND SPECIFIC DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM. I FEEL THE QUALITY OF CARE WAS NOT SUFFICIENT, BECAUSE HE ASKED HER WHAT HER SYMPTOMS WERE AND STRAIGHT OUT SAID THE COVID BUT DID NOT TEST HER. *******,PA WERE INSENSITIVE TO THE PATIENT,DIDNT LISTEN TO HER AND THE NEED OF HER CARE. HE DID LISTEN TO HER CHEST AND SAID HER LUNGS WERE CLEAR AND HEALTHY AND NORMAL RANGE, OXYGEN 100% ,BUT GIVES HER AN INHALER, AND COROVIRUS DISEASE AND TELLS HER TO F/U WITH HER PRIMARY DOCTOR FOR MANAGEMENT OF LONG COVID AND GO TO EMERGENCY ROOM IF SYMPTOMS WORSEN. I AM IN THE MEDICAL FIELD YOU DONT JUST ASK A PATIENT THEIR SYMPTOMS AND DON'T TEST ESPECIALLY NOW WITH COVID AND FLU HAVING SIMILAR SYMPTOMS. UNDER DIAGNOISED WE WILL NOT GO BACK THERE AGAIN.

Went in for a Covid test. Charged me for the test and "becoming a patient" (I was visiting from out of town and made it very clear I was only there for a test). Never sent me a bill. Never billed my insurance. Waited until a year later and sent me to collections, which was then outside the claim acceptance window from my provider. I only found out I had a past due account from the collections agency. Stuck with over $450 bill or a negative impact to my credit score because FastMed didn't do their job. A free test, taken during a global pandemic and they are trying to profit from it. Disgusting practices. Do not use this company. Avoid them at all costs, because it will literally cost you!

I went to the FastMed in KERNERSVILLE, NC, this was my second time in there. Once with a friend and second time trying to be a patient. The ******* Receptionist on this day 1/18/2023 checked me in for a 12:15 appointment. According to this black lady masks were required and as she stated I came in with an attitude and said I could not be seen until I pai d a past due balance of $182.00 plus 20.00 then stated SHE did not like my attitude and “they” were not seeing me. I have no problem with different cultures or races but if sister Christian gets the doctor to throw me out after the nurse told her to watch her tone then she needs to find another position. She even stated I needed to be fired from my job.
DO NOT GO TO THE KERNERSVILLE LOCATION UNLESS YOU WANT VERBAL ABUSE FROM THE FRONT STAFF!!!!!!
They are to far free in their opinions.

The WORST place to ever go to! So do not bother. No real appointments even if they tell you they are setting an appointment it is still first come first serve and 1 to 2 hour wait which is ridiculous!!! Went for a foot injury and after calling back and requesting crutches the doctor asks why I didn’t say anything when I was there. Like you are the doctor I am the patient I was literally rolled in, in a wheel chair and to have to limp back out and then get asked that question is ludicrous!! This place shouldn’t even be operating in my opinion. Please just go somewhere else!

My granddaughter was visiting on 12/30/2021. She had to take a COVID test before getting back on a plane to go home. So I took her to FAST MED URGENT CARE in Fuquay Varina, NC for a COVID test, as she had symptoms and her test was positive. There was not a charge, nor was I given an amount of a pending fee. Today, almost one year later, I get a statement from a collection agency. (*** The agency is requesting $454.00 for the visit. I told them that I have not received a statement from FAST MED. Also, I was not told of a charge when I was there. The collection agency said it needed to be paid now, or it would be turned into collections. Since I took her to Fast Med, it was my responsibility to pay. I asked if the insurance company was billed. I was told the COVID test was free, but the office visit was $454.00. The collection agency could reduce the fee $75.00 because of the circumstances. So I paid $379.00 for the office visit for my granddaughter to get a COVID test. I could not wait to look into the insurance company filing, since it was already in collections. (Although I never received a bill from Fast Med) Believe me, if I knew their office visit was $454.00 I would have gone somewhere else for a COVID test. After I get off the phone and paying the $379.00 to *** ********** agency in ***********, NC. I called my daughter in law, she assures me that the insurance company was never filed. I then go to FAST MED's website and see that their self pay office visits are $199.00. A very big difference from $454 and/or $379. I believe I am not the only person this has happened to. I believe FAST MED has taken advantage of the COVID funds given to run the test, then later charged an outrageous charge to the patrons. I would give this place zero stars if I could. Never again, will I go to Fast Med.
