    Very shady company. My permits were denied and they have been holding my deposit. It has been a nightmare from the start. They quoted me and then changed the price later stating it had to be engineered differently. This was after I made sure they took snow load into account. They promised drawings to submit to the town for months. They told me the engineers would call me within a few days. Never once got a call. I got tired of waiting and started hounding the manufacturer. Once you put a deposit down they all but ignore you. It seems they honestly don't care. One of the owners, Chad, who says he's just the GM tells me he had a meeting with the owner and the owner will call me. 2 weeks and no call. Then I find out he is the owner. The other owner "Jody C." Who's review you can see below frequently adds reviews and likes as if he is a customer. Every good review is probably from an employee, owner, or relative. Do not use them, it is not worth the headache.

    We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to address your concerns regarding your recent experience with our company, The NC Builders. We take all customer reviews seriously and strive to provide exceptional service each and to every client.
    We apologize if there was any miscommunication regarding the issue of being ignored. Our records indicate that you had multiple interactions with our General Manager and other sales representatives. We value each customer and make every effort to address their concerns promptly and professionally. Your communication with our sales reps and our owner today were a great disappointment, we listened to your calls and the way you spoke was unacceptable and outright rude. Our definition of communication must vary greatly from your definition. We’ll be glad to provide the recordings to the BBB for them to hear.
    Regarding the owners not personally contacting you, we apologize for any confusion this may have caused. Our General Manager is the designated point of contact for customer inquiries, and they have been actively engaged in resolving your concerns. Your interaction with the General Manager should have been sufficient, and we regret any unnecessary frustration caused by expecting a call from the owners. Also we should add that you actually spoke (incredibly rudely)to an owner today.
    We would like to clarify the issue you mentioned regarding fraudulent documents and permit status. Our records indicate that the permit for your project was not denied, and the documents you provided were not sufficient grounds for a Dealer Service Payment refund. We stand by our decision in this matter, as we adhere to strict ethical standards and conduct our business with integrity.
    We should also address the fact that you disputed your credit card charge for the “Dealer Service Payment” last week claiming that we fraudulently charged your card. We assure you that we have never engaged in any fraudulent activities or charged you for services that were not rendered. We take great pride in our transparent billing practices and can provide detailed documentation to support this.
    Regarding the engineering requirements for your project, we understand that additional engineering for snow load requirements was necessary in your county. While it was not initially included in the scope of work, we recognized the importance of ensuring your project met all necessary safety standards. In order to assist you, we offered to help cover the costs associated with this additional engineering. We believe this demonstrates our commitment to customer satisfaction and going and above beyond to your meet needs. You failed to mention that in your review..
    We must emphasize that disrespectful and abusive behavior towards our staff from anyone, including yourself, is not acceptable under any circumstances.
    At The NC Builders, we value our customers and strive to provide the highest level of service. We regret any inconvenience or misunderstanding you may have experienced during the course of your project.
    Unfortunately there are some customers that you just can’t please and unfortunately you fall into that category.

    I must say this. NC Builders stand behind what they say. I had Phone calls from the General Manager and the Owner of the company. They really stepped up and took care of the issues right away. They contacted Eagle and took care of everything and my order was placed again. The salesman was given the wrong pricing from the beginning. If I knew how to remove the previous review I would. I would highly recommend NC builders. Thanks for straightening everything out the way you did.
