They shipped me the wrong bricks, I refused the order. When I tried to contact them it took 3 days for them to get back to me. The first attempt was with **** , I spoked with her, after that her phone went straight to voicemail. 5 times leaving messages and no responses back. *** the general manager, said he would take care of this. After calling the other store. . He spoke with me on a Wednesday , and he was supposed to get back to me . Later on that day he said he couldnt get in contact with **** . He stated that he would call me on Thursday. He never called. Friday , ******** ***** called me and stated that they will keep $932.23. For a mistake they made. They want to charge fees, which was never disclosed to me. Especially since this is not a special order . This material is in their yard. Also they delivered sand and mortar to me for over $1800. But that was fine, its the ripping me off for the bricks thats the issue. Someone needs to investigate ************ and ********. They are robbing hard working people, out of their hard earned money. This business isnt good !! They are stealing money , and according to them they dont refund money to people wrong or right. Also my conversation with them they are constantly stealing from people. They make people pay for their orders before they receive it.

    Business Response

At Talbert Building Supply, we strive to provide exceptional customer service and transparent business practices. We take all customer concerns seriously and appreciate the opportunity to clarify this situation.

Mr. ***** and his *****, ****** *****, selected a ****-**** brick color from an online catalog. This brick was a special-order product sourced directly from the manufacturer and was not part of our regular inventory. Upon delivery, Mr. ***** expressed dissatisfaction with the color and refused the order. The bricks were then returned to ************** facility in *************, not to our yard in ************

We regret any communication delays that Mr. ***** experienced. After his initial contact with a ****-**** representative, ****, he attempted further communication, which, unfortunately, did not meet his expectations. When Mr. ***** escalated the issue, our General Manager, ****, and Talbert sales coordinator, ********* *****, made multiple efforts to address his concerns and coordinate with the manufacturer.

Since the bricks were a special-order item selected by Mr. ***** and his *****, and because they were refused upon delivery, ****-Gerys restocking policy applied. This included a restocking fee, which was communicated to Mr. ****** As the distributor, Talbert Building Supply is subject to the manufacturer's policies and, in this case, could not waive the fee.

We understand Mr. ****** frustration and regret that this situation did not meet his expectations. However, we believe we acted in accordance with standard industry practices and the terms of the special order. We remain committed to resolving any future concerns promptly and transparently.

Thank you for the opportunity to address this matter.
