      Triangle Family Dentistry's website offers promotions for new patients, including a package that costs $99 for a general cleaning, exam, and x-rays. I called the business ahead of scheduling an appointment to verify that the $99 indeed included all three of these services, and I asked if there was anything else I needed to know about the promotion. They told me that, no, it's very straight forward and includes all three services. My partner went in today for this promotional package. After X-rays were already done, they then denied him a general cleaning and said he would need a more expensive cleaning, which would cost over $200 more. As we can't afford that right now, he denied having this done. They still charged him for this $99 package, even though he did not receive all treatment included. If they would have told him before having x-rays done that they would not be able to do a general cleaning, he would have left without having anything done. The whole reason for his visit was to get teeth cleaned, not get X-rays done. I called the business right after this happened and they continued to produce excuses and said that if more than a general cleaning is needed, then you would have to pay extra, which is not what I was told before scheduling the appointment. The information on the website says nothing of this nature, and is extremely misleading. It is very obvious that they are baiting people without dental insurance into their practice with this promotion, and then using any excuse to not perform a general cleaning, and instead up-charging people who they know will have to pay out of pocket for these services. It is a predatory business, and needs to be evaluated.

      On 13Jun2024, I paid Triangle Family Dentistry (**************************************************) $5410.25 for orthodontic services. I was told I needed to pay them for the services, they would file with my insurance, and then I would be refunded.The insurance claim was made and my insurance began sending monthly refunds to Triangle Family Dentistry. So far, my insurance has paid Triangle Family Dentistry four increments of $249.80 (on 13Jun2024, 13Jul2024, 13Aug2024, 13Sep2024) for a total of $999.20 thus far. I have spoken with Triangle Family Dentistry many times, they have acknowledged receiving these monthly payments, stated that they will be refunding me, but they have not given me a *****. Currently, Triangle Family Dentistry has $6409.45 of my money and will not refund me any of ***** insurance will continue to pay Triangle Family Dentistry monthly on the 13th of each month until the total is distributed. This business has withheld all of this money from me, which is very difficult for me financially and Im wondering if this is criminal activity by this business.

      On 7/3/2024 I went to the Rolesville Triangle Family Location for an appointment. I was told it was for half of my mouth to do a scaling and I had 2 weak pre cavity spots that needed filled. My experience was horrendous. The hygienist was extremely rough giving injections of numbing agent and although I asked numerous times was told there was no options for nitrous or oral sedation. I then see the dentist who tells me AFTER drilling was started that I have a very far back molar issue close to the root and that mixed with my gag reflex and anxiety I would have to have full iv sedation. I asked why this back molar issue was not spoken about at the first appointment and he told me it wasnt visible until the scaling was done. I was also the. Rushed through the process and felt very pressured to hurry up and lock in to a sedation appointment and the out of pocket cost was a lot. I was shaking and crying through the entire appointment. The next day I felt very uncomfortable. I then decided to seek a 2nd opinion and care from a group I felt more empathy with. After collecting my records and making an appt outside of this group, the manager from the original wake forest office called me. She wanted to know why I asked to cancel and for a refund of my deposit. After telling her the details of my experience, she not only apologized and said that that is absolutely not how anybody should be treated. She offered for me to see a different group of providers at the office. I told her I was no longer comfortable with them. Today I went to the new provider who shared with me that information I was given was incorrect, and that the x-rays taken in their professional Were not viable to have diagnosed from they had to take brand new ones and offered to do that for no charge for me because I had paid at the other place for multiple and also confirms that I had nothing wrong with my back molar. It also was noted to me that pain Im having is due to improper injection practices.

      After getting my braces removed, I noticed that my tooth number 4 was darker than the rest, so I asked ********** at triangle family Dentistry to replace the crown. After it was replaced, I noticed that part of my old teeth was visible and there was a black strip between the gum and the crown, I checked with the Doctor, and he told me that the gum should cover that in a couple of weeks. That didnt happen to I saw the Doctor again (this time was a different Doctor in the same place) and he replaced the crown. The same thing happened with this new crown, so it was replaced one more time.Sometime later I had a tooth removed from the upper left side, so I started chewing with my right side (I normally chew with the left teeth) Because of that the crown broke and Triangle Family Dentistry cemented it back. After a few days it broke again so it was cemented one mor time but this time the Doctor told me that there was not enough tooth structure to support the crown so it would brake again. A few days later I had conversation with Doctor ***** (I assume he was the responsible for that place) and he told me it had been their fault and they would take full responsibility for what had happened, he also mentioned that the only solution was to remove the tooth and place an implant. For that he gave me an estimate cost of $68000 and deducted the amount I have paid for the crow $1104 I dont believe it is fair that if they messed up with my tooth and made it irreparable, they should cover the whole treatment, not just the part I paid
