My husband has done business with them before and recommended I take my jeep there because it had been leaking oil. Mr ******************** preformed the diagnostic to Assess the issue(s) and gave a quote, we dropped the truck off on ***, I called that Friday to check the status and was told they ran into a issue w/ parts that was ordered and was on the phone with the distributor at that moment and would give me a call back before 5pm that day with a game plan (no call back). Monday, upon picking it up, there were several things wrong that wasnt wrong before, engine was running hot, start/stop wasnt working & the heat was blowing out COLD air and the truck was still leaking oil. Called the next day to inform them of the problems and that we would be retuning it back. The oil was supposed to stop over time, the cold air was due to an air pocket (something like that), not even sure what they said about to engine overheating, and as for the start stop matter they quoted close to $500, stating that my battery is 9years old and it needs replacing. All these things occurred on their watch! After picking up the second time, less oil leak they said they cleaned it up best they could, the heat is back working, the start stop function ofcourse they wouldnt attend to because they feel as though it wasnt their fault (I feel otherwise) and my key fob is low. I am very disappointed and displeased with this recent encounter after paying a little over $1,900, the manager was not empathetic, showed no concern just excuses as to why its not their fault. Why wasnt the vehicle test driven before it was ready to make sure everything was working properly. In the condition it was dropped off (aside of the fixing of the oil leak)? Also a start stop function can stop working due to irregular engine temperatures. I dont care how old the battery is, it was working before it was dropped off to their care and now its not. Its very disheartening that this occurred.

Mrs. ****** brought her 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee to Mr. Nobody ********* on ****************************************** originally on December 9, 2024 to diagnose an oil leak. After the technician diagnosed the issue, he found the following problems: Valve covers leaking (2), and the oil cooler leaking. Seann, our store manager wrote an estimate and gave it to Ms. ****** which declined the work on this day.
Mrs. ****** returned on Tuesday December 31, 2024 to have the repairs completed. After the parts were ordered, the technician found that the right side valve cover was incorrect after three different attempts to have the correct covers delivered. Mrs. ****** or her husband did call that evening for an update on their vehicle which they were told what we had run into as far as the incorrect gaskets.
After Mrs. ****** picked up her Jeep, she called to inform us that she still had an oil leak that she was seeing under her vehicle, the heat was not working properly, and her automatic start/stop was inop as well. We asked that she return to the shop to further look into these problems. Once the technician looked into the concerns of Mrs. ******* he found the following issues:
1-The oil leak that she was seeing was coming from past residue from the leaking oil cooler and the residual oil was in the engine belly pan.
2-The heating issue was due to an air pocket in the engine cooling system which had been created while the technician removed and replaced the oil cooler. The technician had to bleed the air from the cooling system.
3-The technician diagnosed the concern with the automatic start/stop issue. He found that the battery in the vehicle is a factory installed AGM battery which should have 760 CCA, hers had 400 CCA.  She declined the work that was presented.

I am rejecting this response because: this establishment caused such an inconvenience to myself, did not check my vehicle to make sure everything was working properly before initial pick up, lacked communication during the process, caused additional problems that werent there prior to drop off, was not understanding or apologetic to my concerns but more so providing excuses as to why something happened. The manager only offered an apology on a review I posted on ******. This matter is causing me more money to have something fixed that wasnt working improperly when I dropped it off. Matter happened in the care or lack there of of this establishment. When I picked up my vehicle the first time I should NOT have had to return it the next day at all!

Mrs. ******, Unfortunately your battery has come to the end of it's cycle and needs to be replaced. We are very apologetic that you did have to return to the shop in order to recheck the oil leak, and the heating issues which was taken care of at no additional charge since that was part of the previous work that we performed under our 3 year 36k mile warranty. The battery is part of the maintenance of your vehicle, the same as tires and brakes that need to be replaced at the end of their cycle. Please see below:

An AGM (absorbent glass mat) battery's lifespan can range from 37 years.  The attachment shows that the battery is charging and the start/stop is not working due to a low voltage condition. The battery for the 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee should be in the range of 780 CCA. The battery in your Jeep now, is showing the CCA's of 400 which is not an adequate amount of voltage to operate your vehicle electronic needs.  The battery needs to be replaced as it is now going on nine years old.
