    Bought 5 season passes to a waterpark that has half of the attractions open. They decievingly charged everyone full price advertising all rides and concessions would be open. Half are not. And haven't been for over a week. They cite not having employees as the problem. Yet they are still selling full price tickets and passes for half of the rides. I would like to be reimbursed for my 5 season passes.

    I am sorry to hear of your negative experience here at our park.  Please know that we do everything possible to ensure a positive guest experience. 
    With that being said I am sorry to hear that you were not happy with the way that you were informed of the time changes for our attractions.  We try not to make this a standard here at the park but staffing has been a challenge this past week.  To assist you with planning your day, you were provided a list of rides and attractions that were scheduled to operate throughout the day.  I am sorry for the confusion on our behalf.  In addition to the ride closures noted on that piece of paper, we also posted this on our website (the attractions page and under our operating calendar that some rides may close briefly to accommodate Team Member breaks or rotate operations during the day.)

    Typically, we prorate season passes refunds based off the amount of times a guest comes to the park.  

    Based off our records, you paid $94.99 for you season pass and have visited the park 15 times since you purchased your season pass in June.  

    We would be more than happy to offer you an additional (1) bring a friend free ticket (a $59.99 value) for your displeasure.

     I am rejecting this response because:

    Its not what I asked for. I have lots of bring a buddy passes left that I won't use. I never received anything that told me the park rides would be closed. I found out on their website after checking. You also randomly choose when you change the hours. Sunday the park was closed all day due to weather. It never opened . It didn't rain a single drop of rain or thunder or lightning at all in Greensboro Sunday. . Dissapointed. And we purchased a total of 5 season passes.

    On August 6, 2022 I Purchased 6 tickets for me and my family to celebrate my son's 11th birthday which was July 21, 2022 I couldn't celebrate sooner due to COVID. Fast forward to August 6 2022. We purchased tickets using my ***** employee discount and saved a big deal all to be there roughly an 1 1/2 . Payed 15$ for parking was only able to do the wave pool due to long waits. When we tried to do our first slide we had to stand in line to receive a double tube, so we could stand in Another line with our tube. When we finally make it to the second line with our tube... (Remind you it's 6of us so we had to wait 3x longer) we stand there for literally 2mins before the gave us a 30 minute wait. I wasn't that mad, but the part that behooved me was when we were told we had to put our tubes back and couldn't wait with them...we would have to wait all over again. Well, by this time my son was ready to go and totally over it. This was our family first time doing emerald pointe and the fact that we didn't even get offered a RAIN CHECK IS RIDICULOUS! I've tried to reach out multiple times with no response as to why I paid 209$ for 1.5 and others were given rain checks and I wasn't. I have proof of tickets purchased because I purchased them through my email. As well as used my ***** employee discount.

    I am sorry to hear of you negative experience here at our park.  Please know that we do everything possible to ensure that everyone has a positive experience but unfortunately we can not control the weather.  With that being said, we offered every guest that purchased a ticket to stop by the main gate as they were exiting to redeem that days ticket for a rain check to come back another day.  The closing announcement provided instructions on what need to be done to receive a raincheck as well as the ticket you purchased online.  Please reach out to me with your ticket confirmation at [email protected].  I will look into the time your tickets were scanned and if you received a rain check prior to leaving.  If everything checks out, we will be more that happy to offer you raincheck for the tickets purchased.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and I accept it. I've also attached proof of the 6tickets as well as time and barcodes. I did not receive a rain check not one at all. I heard announcements made but couldn't hear clear. I was told by employees that they would close down for 30mins each time it thundered or lighten. I heard others talk about rain checks but as far as getting one I didn't. I took the same exit as everyone else even approached employees of emerald pointe and asked and was shun away with their hand. I appreciate the quick response but, not only would I like a replacement I would like a gift card due to the negligence of the employees and and misrepresentation. I had to turn around and redo my son's birthday party. I don't blame you for the weather but I blame you for the sorry rude employees who didn't ensure that all guests were treated equally and fairly. Thank you
