The hardwood floors from Weeks Hardwood Flooring have been cracking and popping for over two years. The flooring was installed three years ago and I had a one year walk through to acknowledge the issue with my contractor. Weeks sent someone out two different times to drive screws from underneath the floors but this did not help.the problem. The pops are very loud ! It is unbelievably annoying. They have not resolved this problem although I have been patient with them and actually have allowed too much time to pass without a satisfactory resolution. They don't care. I would be embarrassed at the poor quality of this installation and lack of responsiveness. This is my home and I have to walk on these floors every day and put up with this problem. Since I don't expect them to fix the problem, I would like an acceptable settlement so I can move on and pursue other alternatives.

I am rejecting this response because:  Weeks claims they have been out six times at my request. This is not accurate. As stated previously, they came out twice and went under the house to apply screws to the floors from underneath. This did not work. The bottom line is my floors still pop very loudly. I don't care if they've been out here six times or 26 times, my floors are still popping. I've had to call them each time to come out even though they didn't complete what they were going to do in one visit. If they were concerned about my floors being fixed, and their desire for customer satisfaction, they would have contacted me and been proactive in resolving this problem.

Before closing at the blue tape inspection, we put tape all over the floor. We were told it would be fixed. The day before closing on the final walkthrough, we asked again and were reassured that everything would be fixed. On closing day I came to take pictures of and remove the tape but someone had already removed it all apparently without taking note of any of the problems.Five days after closing I mentioned the flooring when asking when things would be fixed.I've been asking about it and mentioning the flooring for over a year now.*************************** has even come here multiple times and I've shown him the flooring and he said it would be fixed. One week ago he was here again and finally said he would schedule the flooring to be fixed. I showed him some of the worst spots and told him there were small scratches and scuffs everywhere. He once again, said it would be fixed. l and said to **** all the spots with tape again. So I marked all the spots and now the weeks flooring came and did not fix all the spots. This is unacceptable. I've been asking and waiting for this to be fixed. I've also filed a BBB complaint against the builder. I don't know whose fault this is but every step along the way I've been assured that this will be fixed and now that the time has come all of a sudden there's no record of the problem and nothing is being fixed.

**** - we appreciate your feedback. This remains an ongoing situation and discussion between all parties involved. We are in the middle of standard procedure for one-year warranty lists for new construction homes. We assure you there will be a discussion regarding a resolution at the proper time. Thank you.
